Maybe that could be somewhat mitigated if they were required to turn the police sirens and flashing lights on outside, at the very moment they kick in the door. I'm a retired LEO, 20 years as a deputy sheriff, deputy marshal , firearms instructor - range master , and tactical team leader. I believe that "no knock " warrants should be outlawed. Every officer knows that the safest scenario for serving a warrant is to wait until the suspect is in a vehicle, where a traffic stop can be executed with the suspect(s) at a complete tactical disadvantage. If there's a search warrant for his residence, you detain him and then go to the residence and conduct a tactical entry and search with an announcement.

One of the most serious provocations for the American Revolution was the British Regulars' habit of Breaking down Colonials' doors before dawn to search for smuggled and prohibited items. After the British were purged the practice became so rigidly controlled that judges would issue break-in warrants only under the most critical circumstances. I recall that back in the 1950s there were less than 40 break-in warrants issued in the U.S. in any given year. Now, more break-ins than that take place every day (night) in America -- many of which take place without proper warrants and some of which affect the wrong premises.

Our unit was billeted in GP Medium tents next to an artillery range at the U.S. Army Training Center, Grafenwoehr in Germany. The firing went on at all hours and I slept like a log. I knew they weren't firing at me.

Can’t say I’m surprised that Chad lives near the train tracks in a van down by the river.

“ I see in the fight club the strongest and smartest men who've ever lived. I see all this potential and I see squandering. God damn it, an entire generation pumping gas, waiting tables, slaves with white collars, advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy shit we don't need. We're the middle children of the history man, no purpose or place, we have no Great war, no Great depression, our great war is a spiritual war, our great depression is our lives, we've been all raised by television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires and movie gods and rock stars, but we won't and we're slowly learning that fact. and we're very very pissed off. “ Tyler Durden - Fight Club

A tall Sentry can hold 4-5 long guns, about $100 or so A small suitcase like metal sentry can hold one handgun

Sparty 113 good to know . But I’d prefer a safe that can be bolted down. So Tyrone can’t pick it up and steal it.😝

In most cases of forced entry if one would take time to see if they were a good target the resident would already be a casualty. So !

This is why you get a fiberglass door, with long reinforced screws that go in at the hinge and deadbolt. Then you will wake to some frustrated police hitting your door with a battering ram wondering why it keeps bouncing off of it. Just be careful before you walk up to it that they are not about to use a shotgun on the deadbolt .

Can you guys do a video on both of your all time "go-to" guns?

Your gun gripes aren't my favorite videos that you do, but I like to watch them to hear your opinions, even if I don't always agree. Though we agree on most things. 🙂 Thanks for your videos, brothers!

I recall there being a lot of “no knock raids” during the early 70’s in Northern Ireland. Didn’t work out so well for those doing the raiding.
@codyjarvis98904 жыл бұрын
You guys couldn’t have said it any better. No-knocks are a very scary situation but target accusation is key. That’s something average people don’t take into account. Sometimes even the professionals. Hope the Taylor family gets justice
