Gungire, Dragdown, FemtoCell, Noel at Antiknock!!

Here is my quick review of the night with these amazing bands!! I got to meet Dragdown and Gungire in person!!
They were both incredible to see live and I discovered two new bands you should check out:

Yes, NANA is better live than on records. And she's a badass frontwoman. I saw Fate Gear in May and was blown away. You have to see Fate Gear sometime, after all, Capitan Mina plays there, and in 2005 she founded the first Japanese all female HR/HM band (Eye was on vocals). Destroya was then renamed Destrose... Regards and I also recommend searching for session concerts, there are a lot of them. E.g. July 11 Tamu, Yashiro, Yoshiko Ikejiri and Harunosuke Ikejiri. Sakura + Junna + RIO (ex. Mary's Blood); Saki often plays...

Thank you! I didn't realize Tamu would play with Yashiro and both Ikejiri's and it seems like it's streamed as well, so I will get a streaming ticket for that one for sure. I bought a couple of the Ikejriji's releases a while ago and I have seen them play with Daisuke Kurosawa and Tamu before (and the female keyboard player with Rie a.k.a. Suzaku), so I know they are really good musicians. It's a shame I can't find the Sakura + Junna + Rio one, but you can't win them all.

A shame they didn't stream this one. I have watched streamed shows from Antiknock in the past and I certainly have watched a couple of streamed Gungire sets. I would have loved to be able to watch this one as well because they are always amazing and yes, I love Nana's vocals and her stage presence. I really wish I find a way to get that Gungire CD over here, I am looking for a CD from them for a while. I do have a streaming ticket for the concert Hades is playing tonight though, I always enjoy their live sets so I am sure it will be great. But it sounds like you had an amazing experience with the previous show and I wish you all the best over there in Japan.

hell yea man, Antiknock was my favorite of the venues I went to. If you're up there in Shinjuku, for sure check out Kabukicho, just dont listen to or follow any of the dudes on the street 😂 It's an experience
