Slash is such a legend! It’s like having a second vocalist in the band. His first two solos were so reflective and melancholic and the final solo was almost a funeral march with all the emotions if someone close had died. That was a masterpiece

At 2:00 in to your video exactly you see a piano in a church. I tuned that piano for that music video the whole day of filming. The church was built out in the desert in one long day from stuff driven in on semis. I worked from 7am (literally first on set w that piano on a truck, Cook Ranch NM) till 1 am the next day. Helicopter zooming past Slash was right over me all day making tuning kinda hard. Catering rocked, met band, fat bill.

The lyrics of the Use Your Illusion albums' songs are way deeper than many people realize. "Estranged" and "Coma" especially! When Elton John played November Rain with Gun n Roses - he looked at Axl, also playing a piano, like he was crazy - but they were both obviously having so much fun - and it worked! Dizzy Reed was the other pianist in this clip. Quite a player! Gilby Clarke on the other guitar - a real character too........ and Duffy in the rain - under the table with a bottle and a girl! What I'd do!...... just a nightmare after reading the story.

You are adorable. I subscribed to your channel early in the video. Welcome to Guns N Roses, arguable the best band of all time. I love Slash's guitar solos. They really take every song to the next level. He does amazing things with his solos. Axl Rose is hands down the best rock lead singer of all time. His voice is so unique and versatile. His range is such that he's high on the list of some of the most high notes ever hit, yet at the same time he's high on the list for some of the lowest notes ever hit. He's not number one in either, but no body else places highly on both! His range is unreal. I love the scratchy raspy singing voice. It's very hard to make a voice like that sound so good. I can only think of two other singers with raspy voices to that degree who sounded good - Janis Joplin and Rod Stewart. Excellent company for sure. Axl is an interesting one to look into behind the scenes off the stage to. He's chaotic, he's deep, he's controversial and problematic, but he's always interesting and an amazing performer. The bride in the video was his gorgeous girlfriend back at the time. One of his many, many gorgeous girlfriends. In the late 80s to the mid 90s girls who were into pretty boys tended to either be into Bon Jovi (the nice guy pretty boy that you could bring home to mom) or Axl Rose (the bad pretty boy who should be in therapy but back then was usually just out getting in trouble). For you, I would go right next to Sweet Child Of Mine for your second Guns N Roses song. Welcome to the Jungle, Paradise City, Don't Cry, You Could Be Mine are all can't miss. They have an extensive catalog of hit songs. My personal favorite doesn't have an official music video but there's is just a lyric video to it, Civil War by Guns N Roses. Amazing vocals by Axl, it has piano in it to, of course Slash's awesome solos. There's a lot of live concerts videos worth checking out to. Id suggest VH1 Behind the Music documentary on GNR maybe first before you start reacting. Once you get your head around Axls mindset and the drama in the band it gives their work a whole nother level

Good reaction. But just to explain the video, it was actually the 2nd part of a 3-part song/video series by GnR. Anyway, the story is, that Axl Rose's character had a fiancè, but he cheated on her and she ended up taking her own life with a gun. The entire wedding scene is him dreaming of himself and his then-alive fiancè actually getting married. But that wedding ceremony never actually took place. What actually took place at the church was her funeral rites. Also regarding the fiancè's casket, that mirror in there is next to her face since she took her own life. That practice (with the mirror in the casket) is an old Catholic custom, if I'm not mistaken. I'm Catholic, but I only vaguely recall that, so I'm not 100% certain.
