Saw them in 1988 at Rice Stadium in Houston in the Monsters of Rock tour. Van Halen, Metallica, Scorpions, Dokken and Kingdom Come. And I was a big Metallica fan, but no one compared to the Scorpions that day/night . Best sounding band by far and a lot of my friends that the same. They are the best sounding live band I have ever heard.

Scorpions (like Iron Maiden) are the most beautiful band who gave me the strength to be happy and enjoy the life during the hard time. You will like the band because they give us emotions in every song. They are famous because in every album they recorded, there are some love ballads like (Still loving you, We’ll burn the sky, Alwyas Somewhere), peace songs (Wind of Change) and rocks ones (Rock you like a Hurricane, No one like you, Big city Nights). I have been to at least 3 of their concerts. They are a fabulous band that mixes hard rocking tunes and tear jerking ballads. Hard to believe they started in the 1970s and are still going strong. They are awesome.

You already made a mistake. You picked a chopped up singles version of this song. The original studio version is about 2 minutes longer and much better (More guitar). By the way, this is a power ballad, something the Scorpions were known to be the best at in the world. They do, heavy, fast songs, but they did at least one of these on every recording they put out from 1979 on, and most of them did very well on the charts. I will add to my comments after I see the rest of this video.

This song is good, but the "sequel" is amazing. The original is about a young couple whose love was put through the wringer. The sequel, "SLY" (acronym for "Still Loving You"), from the 2010 "Sting In The Tail" album, revisits the emotional turmoil, this time between parent and child - a child named/nicknamed "Sly". The original song was rerecorded in 2011 on "Comeblack", a compilation of covers and newly recorded Scorpions classics. The Scorpions were one of the bands I first encountered when I got into metal with a song called The Zoo. They have an amazing catalogue of songs that, I'm sure after this you won't need any of us to tell you to explore. Definitely go for their early stuff first before you try the more commercial 80s output, it's all good though.

Klaus Mien was and is one of rock’s greatest singers especially when they do these amazing love ballads which they are known to do more so than good hard core hard rock/metal songs. There is a lot you have missed from this band, full blooded German decent but so freaking awesome since 1972 I personally have their entire collection but I am more into the older scorpions from lonesome crow to blackout albums (1972 through1982).
