The guy in the arcade is a close friend of mine. True story, he also does the vocals for the Omen/Shadow Jago theme in the video game Killer Instinct.

I get emotional when I hear this song. Being a vet and just reminiscing on days past with brothers that are no longer here with us, it just strikes a different cord with me. I love Gunship. rest easy my brothers until Valhalla.

Gunship is one of the best bands currently. So underrated. The videos are always so much fun! I love how 80s synth music is making a come back. Check out the band Lebrock for that pure 80s movie soundtrack sound. Also, the name of the song was from the 80s movie, the Breakfast Club. It was a big reference in the video.

That was great - the references I think I got are: Jaws, Bill and Ted, Rambo, Rocky, Die Hard, Nightmare on Elm Street, The Breakfast Club, Commando, Kickboxer, Blade Runner, They Live. I probably missed a lot.

Gunship is such a cool band. I really wish Synthwave, as a genre, was more well-known.

The song may be a shot back to the 80s, but goodness it still can hit hard. Existential feelings man.

Thanks so much for doing this one! :) I agree that you should check out "Dark All Day" by Gunship. It is vampire themed with a focus on The Lost Boys. It even features Tim Cappello (the sax guy from Lost Boys)!

I been listening to Synthwave and I found this song today and it's amazing Fly for your Life is another Gunship song I love I'd always see these Gunship vids but for some reason I'd click on everything else but them for years.. The Midnight was my favorite but now I think I like Gunship better.. Tough call

Great reaction . . . just one thing -- The answer to anything referencing Snake Plisskin is: "Escape From New York". The latter should never be spoken about again.

Just watched this reaction. Fly for your life video (has ww2 pilots) and gates of disorder (stranger things fan film). Both are freaking awesome . Not a patreon yet.,,but it's awesome music.

Hey TNT, love your reactions...just wanted to add something that may have been missed on your Hurt -Johnny Cash video...thought the Johnny version was beautiful, the song was originally witten and preformed by Trent Reznor (his band Nine Inch Nailes)

Hey guys, your lists may be vast...but consider - Nine Inch Nails, Alice in Chains as two major artists that were headliners for the Grunge revolution in the 90's

For a different kind of throwback, I'll recommend a great little Japanese all-female band called The Let's Go's, who play fast-paced, energetic, 100 mph, fun punky music with a classic 70s sound - who still manage to sound fresh and modern. This is a video they put out a couple of weeks ago called "Feel Like It" kzbin.info/www/bejne/kJKcaYWgpbChgZo I love these girls, after finding them a couple of months ago, and I hope you will too. Enjoy!
