If you've ever had a neon color hair, attention just goes with it and I think people with a lot of visible tattoos experience something similar. I like having neon red/ purple hair but the questions and stares are annoying sometimes. Not everyone gets these colors for attention, but when you have them, it's best to be able to deal with that.

marmalize after the first wash after coloring it doesn't bleed anymore. Wash with cold water, color safe shampoo and conditioner, wash 2 times a week, dry shampoo in between.

once she moisturizes her hair often and doesnt wash it with harsh shampoo and deep conditions.. the hair should be fine.. i color my hair like that all the time.

True. Keep it moisturized, avoid harsh and stripping soaps etc, go easy on the heat-treatment, and wash it less, practically as little as possible, and the natural oils etc will keep the hair healthy ( and let the color last longer!) which means less damage and less trips for touch ups.

Depends on the quality of the dye used, how well your hair takes the dye, how often you heat-style your hair, and whether you follow your colorist's care instructions. Generally speaking, with salon quality direct dyes, limiting exposure to heat tools, and washing only once a week in *cold* water, vivid color can last up to 3 months (in my experience). Though your roots will often grow faster than the color itself fades, so I usually go in for a touch up every 6-8 weeks because of this.
