As a st austell based fisherman and fellow youtuber I really appreciate these videos. I have lived in Cornwall all my life and recently got really into fishing. These videos help me pick put spots to try! The parking information is also massively appreciated! Thank you! and subbed

Another great video! Would it be worth throwing a surf seeker for bass over the rocks where the pool is? Cheers

Hi Ed, do you mean trying to fish over it when it’s covered? Or fishing off the rocks themselves?

@@GwinearAngling sorry I meant when they are covered.

I think you may have a hard time making that happen to be honest Ed. By the time the tide is high enough to cover those rocks, the water’s edge will be a good way up the beach and you would need a very ping cast to get close to it. Even if you could make the cast, you would have no control over the lure’s sink rate and retrieve depth at that range and I expect you would get snagged straight away.

Yes, a great venue on its day, But please be very careful here especially the less experienced.

Great point, thanks for sharing 👍 we normally only recommend small tides and mild surf for this beach - there’s no doubt that it can be potentially perilous!
