I'm about to go on holiday to Spain and so this is perfectly timed. My rings will go straight in the suitcase!

Calisthenics is huge in Spain so you might even find a decent calisthenics park! 💪🏿

great location and you demonstrated the versatility and portability of rings. i'm still concentrating on handstands and l sits. i've been following your advice as to narrowing my focus on a small number of skills. i'm also doing basic calisthenic strength exercises. have a great vacation, andrew.

Thanks Bruce! Let me know how your progress goes with a more narrowed focus! When I started doing that, my progress went through the roof, so I look forward to seeing the same for you! 💪🏿

Heya Andrew. Last holiday I brought my rings but didn’t end up using them :P. Usually I like to go on a one week deload but if it’s for a prolonged period of time I might try fit in some pushups and that. Thanks for asking at the end, I am just about to enter a hypertrophy phase as well as starting my handstand journey. I’ve been putting this off since I was preoccupied with a school play, but now that is done with I have all the time in the world. Also just wanted to say I got a PureGym membership. After a year and a half working out at home, I decided to get one. The 2 big reasons are the community; I love working out with other people; as well as the empty space there. Like at home I can’t safely do wall handstands; I’ve tried and hit my knee on the doorknob during the exit. But at PureGym, I feel safe pulling out some wall handstands. Still gonna be treacherous journey but wish me luck lad :3

I usually do the same - try and use the holiday as a deload, but I knew I wanted to sneak in some Front Lever work 😅 And mate good luck on your handstand journey!!! Yeah Puregyms usually have a couple of walls that work well for handstands and you might even meet some hand balancers training and that is always great for getting training tips! Keep crushing it man and beware of doorknobs! 😅

Follwing ur frogstand to handstand routine atm xD One thing that I have been doing daily is hanging and OMG it has done wonders for my shoulder health, mobility and overall wellness. I've started doing to once in morning (couple sets) and evening. I mix up the sets as well, dead hangs, active hangs, one arm hangs. I've had bad shoulders for ages because I neglected mobility training for when training backlever but, now they actually feel strong.

How are you going with the frog - handstand progress? Seems like quite a few people are trying to learn that recently 💪🏿 And yeah hanging is unreal. If you film yourself doing it you can literally see your spine decompress and lengthen! Keep working at it Neal and keep me posted 👊🏿

Great video Andrew! I love the tunes and the vibe -got a trip to Panama coming soon: Obviously rings are going. I’m moving from general hypertrophy into specific stuff for skills -doing front lever tuck pulls and wall handstand

Thanks!!! I've heard such great things about Panama - I'm jealous bro! And that's brilliant about the training! Build the muscles up, then get super specific about what we want them to do! That's the Cali To The Crowd way 💪🏿

Are rings or a bar better for front lever? 😊
@CaliToTheCrowd
@CaliToTheCrowd 8 ай бұрын
I personally prefer attempting the skill on a bar as it is more sturdy, but peforming the supplemental exercises on rings, just because most of them I need to tuck my legs, and rings allow legs to pass between my hands =]

I would say bar is easier than on rings. Not that either one is better, but just a bit harder.
