Hi Adam! Always a fan of you, and watching your content since a year ago :) I was curious, in the beginning of the video there was a gymnast training with (I think it was) a fixated weight vest, so i'm pretty curious if you have ever trained with a fixated weight vest or if you recommend training with them in comparison with one with plates :) send you blessings 🙏🏼

@antoniusblock7193
@antoniusblock7193 2 жыл бұрын
On rings, any exercise in an inverted hang - like shrugs - can do a pretty good job, or if the starting or ending position is upside down. Even the skin the cat adds some to the neck, but all needs correct, slow enough execution with tension in the right places. And don't underestimate the active hang, and the exercises which require that position. If you want to target the neck muscles more directly, i don't recommend bodyweight ones, like bridges, but you can use wide, lighter resistance bands on wall bars or on ladder, and get creative with some type of nods. You can use a beanie if you have hair, so the band won't pull it. Or the simplest, just neck flexion, extension and side bends on a bench, without or with plates. Important for all of them above, learn the movement correctly, before you're doing reps, and dont rush. Neck is no joke.
