As much as I loved frenemies, I just actually want hila to have a relationship with her brother again bc that’s honestly so heartbreaking. I do think Ethan and Trisha could maintain a healthy friendship with boundaries…but not live for us all to see…and who knows? I can't explain why, but hearing all of them talk about frenemies and Trisha fondly after years of them barely acknowledging each other was extremely healing for some reason and I my heart feels lighter. I feel like Ethan and the crew don't always realize just how much Frenemies changed the world of podcasting forever. It was one of the first podcasts to place importance on being visually appealing...things like costumes, cosplay, segments, challenges, and co-hosts that don't always get along are common place in podcasts now, but frienemies was really the first of it's kind. The "mmmhmmm" meme and the "gravity" debacle are still some of the funniest internet moments of all time.
