Hey guys! Let's be real, my house isn't always clean haha I definitely prefer everything to be tidy, but it's hard to maintain on my own. My husband is helpful, and if I'm really overwhelmed with work I have someone come help me clean. Since cleaning is something we ALL have to do, I thought it would nice to share some of my routine/tips! Hope you enjoy!

Some sponsored videos seem like the video was made solely for the advertisement of the product(s), or seem "sneaky" or misplaced somehow. But I didn't realize that this was a sponsored video until I read the description. It didn't seem like an advertisement or "brush off" video at all. Excellent job, I loved the tips; I love your videos.

I love these kinds of videos. They're so motivating and I love putting them on while I'm cleaning! I'd definitely love to see maybe a quick daily routine or room/season specific routines (maybe outdoor or like a "garden cleanup/pruning") sometime. I also love your home. It's obviously so lovely and classy but also not overly stark white/modern that I see in a lot of youtube videos. It definitely looks like a beautiful, comfortable home and not just a stuffy showroom.

Great tips! One thing I've learned is that since it never rains ( of course😁) inside the house, it's a great idea to spray water mixed with a little vinegar all over. The dust will fall from the air. The vinegar will neutralize and also kill many germs! I do that quite often and it helps a lot!

Rachel try the magic erasers on surfaces that just don't seem to come clean! My kiddos love to color and accidentally color furniture pretty frequently, the erasers help but if that doesn't work I found clear nailpolish remover does work too. 😉

It's great that you make so many of your household products. I do the same because they work really well and do not have the harsh chemicals that are so harmful. Recently, I learned that even, fabric sheets, are so dangerous so now I use wool dryer balls with a few drops of lavender essential oil:) Also, I make my own laundry detergent which has only 4 ingredients: borax, fels naptha, washing soda & oxy clean (optional).

Alstroemerias/peruvian lilies have a really long shelf life for cut flowers (they can last up to two weeks!) I usually keep them on my desk at work in a pretty vase. dahlias are also very long lasting and you can make dahlia bread! it's kind of like zucchini bread :) also, I'd double check if you can use high acid cleaners on your countertops, they look like quartz and it can be damaging to the sealant!

Little tip: If you have a duvet (or a cover with Down) put the part containing down in the dryer with a clean tennis ball and set the dryer on low/air dry. The tennis ball helps to fluff up the down. Every 20-30 minutes, break up any clumps there maybe. Just a little tip to help you guys!

Hi Rachel and hi guys, just wanted to warn you about swifer which is really toxic for your pets, and I feel like if it's bad for an animal, it's probably bad for yourselves too. Just to let you know, it contains a chemical that can actually kill a cat -someone I know lost her three cats in two days because of this specific chemical that can be found in a lot of house cleanser (especially in the sprays). Your video was really nice to watch though, thank you and take care!

Hi Rachel, just an FYI but you actually never want to use vinegar on natural stone surfaces (marble, granite, etc) as the ph is too acidic and eventually it will breakdown and can cause chipping. For marble and granite counters you want a mixture of water, rubbing alcohol and a bit of Castile soap.
