Apoptosis, also called “programmed cell death” is the process where the cell regulates its own death through the production of certain enzymes. These enzymes cause degradation of nuclear and cytoplasmic DNA and the cell breaks into fragments called apoptotic bodies. Apoptotic bodies are then gobbled up by phagocytes.

This is a wonderful explanation. I do have one question, at 4:51 where you state FADD adheres to the cytoplasmic end of at least 3-4 Fas ligands, did you mean 3-4 Fas receptors? I'm not understanding if the receptor has to bind to multiple Fas ligands or if FADD binds to multiple ligands or what is going on there. That part was a little confusing but overall this was a very informative video. Thank you for making it.
