Excellent explanation and presentation. Nice to see. Have to apply similar dedication and attention to detail to my Goldring Lenco! Well done.

There are a great number of British-issued 45s from the late 1960s and into the 1970s issued by Philips and Polydor(before they joined forces to form Phonogram, later Polygram) that had large centres, and no, the centres were not pushed out, they were actually made with large centres. I have quite a few of them myself, including two that were sourced from the Australian label, Fable Records. They are "He Gives Us All His Love"/"Life"(Ross D. Wylie) Polydor 2058-125, issued 1971, and "Pushbike Song"/"Who Loves Ya[instrumental]"(The Mixtures) Polydor 2058-083 issued 1970 and this one was in Stereo while the Aussie Fable issue was only Mono.... er, yeah, go figure that one out! Hey Ron Tudor(Fable label owner), WHAT GIVES, AY?

As you can unscrew it, would it be possible to put a different headshell/cartridge on?
@nickadams54115 жыл бұрын
Hi, Yes, it is possible to fit a different cartridge, as long as it can be secured to the headshell. I have changed them in these headshells. The headshell itself can be obtained seperately, so you could have a different cartridge in each, and swap them pver.
