@@nicholasleclerc1583 A warband from the night lords legion decided to pick a fight with a dark eldar fleet and blew several haemonculi (known as "The Altered") into space during a hull breach. After being recovered and regrown... They were pissed and went after the warband for payback, said warband was currently bullying an imperial world (as the nightlords often do). So The Altered brought a device that essentially blocked out light to the point where even space marine sight was useless, then send in mandrakes and wracks. Slowly the Night lords were becoming paranoid and afraid of the darkness. In the end the Night lords managed to blow up the device but the Haemonculi and their retinue were long gone leaving the Night lords even more paranoid than they already were.

A suitably chilling entry that gives justice to the horrors that are the covens of haemonculi. That poor captive just "had" to be property of a "soloist". He'd have fared much better as part of a "choir". Also, I must ask, what coven sounds most interesting to you? For me, it would be the Dark Creed. To manipulate events for an indirect kill, or even to get their victims to kill themselves in terror, is horrifying.

I’ll try to sneak it in when I do all the other groups, cults and Kabals and possibly get it in there. I went into the horrific situation of the Scarlet Epicureans a lot. Every time I come back to your channel, I always find my way back to this video. This is my favorite out of all your videos, the work you put into this really paid off. The music, the voicework, and the script make something beautiful and relaxing to listen to. But then when you really listen and understand what is being said to this poor human, then you see the flaw within the beauty of it. You see how wrong the shadow is that is cast by the luminance in this wonderful piece you have created. Sorry if I'm getting mushy and poetic, but your work is an absolute joy to listen to and it's also inspiring when I hobby. I've listened to this video so many times so that I could fully drink in all the detail in the story. What I love about this most, is how subtle the horror seems to be, but the more you listen to it, the more the realization grows and you begin to grasp just how terrible this fate truly is. It's terrifying not just because it's horrendous, it's also terrifying because it is so somber a fate. I believe you've performed a concept, a feeling, an emotion that only art can express. Your execution in this video captures the character of the drukhari superbly. I look forward to each and every one of your videos, especially any future drukhari ones. Baldermort, this is amazing, its very well done, and let me just say, I am so glad to find someone else who has a passion for the Dark Eldar and their fascinating "sub"-cultures. I was already in love with the Old Dark Eldar, but their revamp made me madly in love with them, honestly the only things I miss from the OOP OG Dark Eldar were their version of the Incubus was better, I mean come on, show me Elves who use Polarms/Helbards, its just not something one often sees, and their modern transports are a... acquired taste shall we say. Without a doubt the best parts of the Dark Eldar are the Haemonculus Covens, Mandrakes, and Incubus, why the Coven of 13 Scares got some wicked love from a Black Library Novel dealing with Fabius Bile(the third book), and its amazing seeing their Flesh Titan come to life(even if the BL arthur took them down too many pegs by saying Bile was the true creator of their Flesh Tower). Hey Baldermort, I would absolutely LOVE to see you cover the Chaos Dwarfs of Warhammer Fantasy, I for one find the fabled Dawi Zharr to be more akin to the Dark Eldars then the Dark Elves are, a great deal why comes from Commorragh being a lot like Mingol Zharr-Naggrund, the capital of the Dawi Zharr.

If the haemonculi can replicate an eldar body and fill it with their souls when they die does that make the clones automatically have another soul formed from the aether if it is released when the original is around or is it soulless like necrons?

Right. Clones have souls from the Drukhari. Not sure why, when others claim they don’t for other races, but there is zero evidence I’ve come across stoping clones of Drukhari having souls. Most of them are clone bred. But regeneration is different to cloning. They are literally regrowing someone from the slightest particle, not cloning. It’s messy. :)

I laughed out loud at work at "Fleeing through time from our majesty." I can"t tell if he was just talking trash to impress his captive(Which is sad enough) or if he actually believes that's what happened. Because the way I read it, the Eldar, Krorks, and Old Ones got their shit ran so hard by the Necrons that there wasn't enough of the species left to be an appetizer for the C'Tan. The Eldar fled into the Webway to escape the genocide and didn't come out until the Necrons decided to act like they just had a family reunion at a Golden Corral and went home to take a nap until they restoked the buffet. But he can keep talking about how The Fall was deliberate and how happy he is that Slaanesh exists, even though an entire faction of pzykers refuse to use the power of the Warp because they know that as soon as they touch the Immateriun, He/She/It's gonna be on them like a pitbull on an in-heat poodle. With much the same intentions.
