That means that one day, maybe sooner than later, the world will run out of Skylines and RBs to chop up and modify, and we'll all be left with no original Skylines running around, kind of like how Silvias and other S-chassis cars are right now. The reason of converting base model cars is that the top trims are already very rare especially in some parts of Asia. Plus due to Tax requirements in different countries the prices doubles of the car's original price when importing them. Since there are third party or spare parts and engines of the top trims cars it is easier to import them. We also do this in Pakistan by converting Base Lancers in Evos and converting EK hatches into Type R. In Pakistan the import laws are strict since you can only import a car less than 5 years of its orignal production run. I think there are similar laws to this in other countries.

14:22 no offense but this completely glosses over the fact that GTRs have wider rear guards. That goes for R32, R33, and R34. The rest you can arguably do with bolt-on stuff but doing the wide rear guards to the same as an R34 is the difficult part. The monocoque is just different. It's not just a case of sticking blister fenders on. And clean rear quarters aren't something you are going to get with a front cut.

He's talking about different thai workers than ive ever experienced... All the ones I know would find a way to avoid work or do it the easy way if they possibly can.

Do they sell those centre lock for the lmgt4s to international customers?

3:00 correct me if I’m wrong but I thought the nür versions of the r34 only came in v-spec II and m-spec. Never heard of an m-spec II nür, is that made up?

Is every skyline from whatever generation an R32, R33,R34. or just the GTR models. I thought the R meant is was only talking about GTR's.

200k in a fake R34 is crazy... The original ones aren't even worth that much from any metric other than sentimental value, let alone a souped up skyline coupe 2.5 25GT Turbo

In a way, the exorbitant prices are what kept many of the Skylines alive. S-chassis cars used to be affordable but many S-chassis cars have been wrecked, driven into the ground or stripped for parts over the years that it all resulted in S-chassis prices skyrocketing over the years. A clean, unmolested S13 is as rare as a multimillion dollar hypercar.

@@fredEVOIX Where is "here" even? That truck is supposed to be 55~95k and even if it was 120k it has more HP, torque, accelerates faster, the top speed is lower tho, (albeit it's limited anyway), so as I said, by any metric other than SENTIMENTAL VALUE those "R34" are overpriced, but even if they had better numbers, it's a goddamn sports car, why the hell are you comparing it to a truck? they were not built for the same thing, they not even let you go as fast as it can on this truck and cap the top speed since it' value is not on how fast it is, people buying it most likely are interested in how much it can tow, how it handles rough terrain how much it costs to maintain, etc. At least compare it to a car on the same category

I've seen used real ones for 50k. 200k is like a top model rare one in amazing mint condition. I wouldn't DREAM of paying even 50k for a fake. Id just build my own with a 50k budget and start with an 18k one. If that's the case these are purely for suckers.

How much is the GTT in Thailand?
@shb96412 ай бұрын
These are considered collectors cars to a lot of people. So, changing them to GTR instead of what they are is actually devaluing them.
@nunya8872 ай бұрын
@shb9641 what's wrong with them being devalued? people just want to get an r34 gtr but the prices are insane so this is the next best thing
