Hair Growth Time Lapse - 2 Year Madness

So as you can already see I had one hell of a awkward stage going on, usually people say that it will last around 6-8 months, in mine case it was like 10 months long and that is due to my hair type, having a thick wavy hair with a few curls here and there, which when its in the early stages it tends to just grow in that awkward upward direction which doesn't look good on me at all.
That being said I think it was ultimately worth it.

When I was a kid I was always forced to almost shave my head every month, and whenever I told them I wanted to let my hair grow, they would tell me not to ever dream about it. Then when I was nine I rebelled and I said no more hair cuts!! So my mother would cut my hair when I was asleep. That lasted until I was 13, when I got in a traditional school where boys with long hair are unthinkable of, so I had to go back to the boring short hair until I was 16, got tired of it and started growing my hair again. Because of the school norm, I would use gel every morning to style my hair in a way it looked way shorter than it already was, but secretly I was growing my hair longer than ever. I almost got caught once but quarantine happened and I only had to put a hat on during online classes so nobody would notice. And until now, I've been a year and 5 months since I got a haircut and, what can I say, it looks fucking awesome
