Hair Transformation: Balayage to White Blonde Bleach Out - high risk color correction tutorial

Hey Everyone! Heres a tutorial on how to do a platinum card to get any set of highlights/balayage to a platinum bleach out in one session! this is what I do on most of my colour correction clients who want to go icy blonde in one sitting. She does have some warm lowlights that i will sort out in our next root touch up appointment but we had no breakage whatsoever! Thats always my main goal = Hair Health! Theres no toner formula today as it was a stronger toner and we had to mix up a couple formulas one after another, so I cannot confidently say this toner will give you the same result as it gave me.

Full bleach is expensive in America! In the UK it’s less than a full head of highlights

I’ve had the same thing happen so many times. Most recently this past July. I spent over $900 and I have bleached my own hair much, much better than how it turned out for less than $100. So frustrating. I have seriously considered traveling from the east coast of the US to Vancouver to have her do my hair. I have yet to find anyone as meticulous and skilled around me. Not even close. This last hair disaster was an eight hour round trip drive to a “Blonding specialist”. Never. Again. 😑

underneath looks great! whenever i do a color correction i make sure to mix a bit of warmth and cool to balance out the canvas

I have naturally light blonde hair - should I tell my stylist to use less than a 10 volume developer when doing my highlights? I thought 20 volume and below was only for depositing color , so I'm very curious if I can maybe use a lower volume and have less stress on the hair. Thanks in advance!

Depending on the lightener, I’m not sure what your stylist uses. Any volume paired with bleach will Lift. The number is the speed not the amount of levels it will lift

@@BobbyHairStudio Ok got it! So if you want to go slow, use a lower volume peroxide with the bleach powder. Thank you for explaining! I think they use Schwarzkopf Blondeme bleach powder and developer.

Do you ever do boy’s hair? I have shortish hair and sometimes doing my roots takes 3-4 bleaches (I always use vol7 and blond me) I wonder is there a way to do platinum card for roots on short hair and avoid bleaching the ends which would prob snap

Try 20 volume maybe and letting it process for no more than an hour and it should give you more kick

You really can do better. The natural situation wasn't that complicated, so the end result should have been much more even. Some strands are too violet, and one of them looks orangy.

@@BobbyHairStudio Hm. On the roots I would have done your recipe of 1 part in 9,5 55 and 2 parts 9,5 1. And the ends: one part 7,21,one part 9,5 55,3 parts 9,5 1.But it's difficult to say, maybe the blue and yellow together becomes green, but I don't think so cause of the much violet 😘

@@jaquosh1576 I think that’s a good formula with the exception of the 7-21 (I find the 2 is extreme in that level) so I would opt it out for a 7-1 to make sure the hair doesn’t go blue or green just incase
