The spilling of bins happens at the goodwill bins here. The people come everyday and spill them, regardless of what is inside. Crazy to me. They will break any fragile items and they never care. It's all about them in that moment. I cannot fathom behaving like that. Great haul! That store is pretty cool. We don't have anything like it here that I've found.

I go to Cazboys in Alabama every Friday. I usually spend $400-$600. I stay a long time. I fill a cart pay then go back in. My best finds are usually later in the morning just roaming from bin to bin. I recommend staying longer. I find good stuff in the bins they bring out after the swarm of people walk away. Try looking up some odd finds. You’ll be surprised.

Besides of the great coffee lady... you were right about those people who forgot their decensy when they go to the bins. They grab everything and throw them on the floor and pick them up later. They dont care if you step on it and you are also shopping like them. Great video content to learn something from your experience.

Josh, I'll preface this by saying I know there are a lot of variables to this, but in these stores you really need to get your hands on every single item in a bin. I know when you first get in the store you have to rush to compete against everyone else, but honestly in these places there so much inventory and 95% of the people don't know what they're looking at. They look for high priced, brand name items, but you can rack up if you take your time and search through every bin. Again, I know the variables haha, 1) shooting a video, 2) you may have other errands and are crunched for time, 3) rushing to compete against other pickers, 4) limited room in your buggy, and 5) fatigue. (My bin store has around 150 bins, so physical fatigue and limited room play a huge factor on my mental fatigue sometimes and as I reach the last 30 bins I start putting back goods simply because I don't wanna carry it anymore in my ikea bags) But in my personal experience at these stores, if you take your time and diligently search you come out way ahead.

These stores are popping up all over the country so you don't have to drive for hours to get to this one. They aren't usually chain stores so they will have different names, you just have to search them out. My small town of 30K has two that follow a model similar to this store; $5 the first day, then $3....last day is $1 or 50 cents. To keep costs down, both businesses are located in rundown stripmalls in the less affluent part of town so if you're on the lookout for this type of store start in those areas.

I have known many who have owned little espresso shack or mobile coffee unit.. and because the overhead cost and cost of inventory is pretty low.. you can make a huge amount of money depending on location and how well you can do coffee products. One Location in Seattle I personally know of and knew the owner was making $200,000 + a year off their stand...another was a much smaller location inside a medical office.. who was pulling in 150k a year..which is pretty decent for a tiny location imo..

Hey Josh. The Chef shoes bottoms could be the rubber breaking down. If they still have tags on most likely they weren't worn in the kitchen. When those soles sit too long they get gooey and nasty. Trash or possibly warranty replacement. I've had a few pairs that went bad.
