Halestorm drummer Arejay Hale shows Rhythm his stick tricks

Arejay is very modest. I think he's the most entertaining drummer I've ever seen! You can feel his passion, his showmanship is superb. I saw Halestorm twice in concert and was blown away by them. I even got one of Arejay's drumsticks when my brother went next to the stage and yelled for him to toss it. He and Arejay were throwing it back and forth - Arejay never missed a beat! My brother kept the drumstick in time before security pulled him away.

Arejay is not just a monster on the drums but is a great entertainer. I've seen them live twice and he is just amazing to watch. High energy and he connects with the crowd. Lots of drummers are at the back of the set and, though talented, they just kind of disappear into the background. You can't lose Arejay even behind his gorgeous and very engaging sister Lzzy. This band is just amazing all the way around. I love them.

Exactly!!! This isn't my kind of music but I have to respect this guy. He is a very good drummer and I can see him becoming a great one with is attitude and willingness to work at it. Music first!! He's got it!!!

Halestorm came to El Paso in 2012. I was pulling into the parking garage and they were standing in front of their tour bus talking to a few fans. I parked the car on the sidewalk and took the opportunity to chat with them. They're both great, GREAT people, really connected with their fans, really friendly. They're on par with the late, great Ronnie James Dio when it comes to how much they adore their fans. I hope their career lasts as long as RJD.

yeah. that was awesome! I saw them yesterday and filmed the solo. I'm curious what my drum teacher will say about it. fact is that he's an amazing drummer AND entertainer. :)

Me too, I went along with a friend who won tickets. I'd knew Bullet for My Valentine, but somehow, Halestorm had slipped under my radar, I came away converted. LOVED them. I only wish their set had been, even 10 mins longer, still amazing tho.
