I can't help but feel this video is the passive aggressive stance of a primarily console/controller user. Not trying to throw shade or anything but some of your notes on how mouse aiming is harder is just based on what you're used to regardless of aim assist. If you started on consoles and stayed there consistently you'd gain a higher aptitude for aiming in shooters. And vice versa for pc. Just felt like mentioning because the way you worded it bothered me a bit.

Certainly didn’t mean for it to sound passive aggressive! I primarily game on PC (though I enjoy using Xbox in the living room). My comments on mouse and keyboard were from the perspective of a Halo gamer. While I’m still not particularly accurate, I prefer m&kb with games like Battlefield V, Half Life 2, and so on. But for whatever reason, I struggle with Halo!

I hope they listen to my issues. Being a halo insider, I really hope that the few niche issues I say are heard. Like Supporting the steam input api Better sensetivity options on controllers. You can change sensetivity for aiming in normal aiming, but not when weilding a turrent, riding a vehicle or holding a turrent Let us turn off aim assist when using a controller Letting mouse & keyboard input to be read at the same time as comtroller input. For me, it's for better gyro aiming. But also, letting me change volume and move play the game at the same time I'll let yoy guys to find out what gyro aiming and steam input api are

@@borgri5871 It's not really ray tracing since reshade can only work with what's on screen. The whole idea of ray tracing is that that it calculates how light interacts and bounces off every surface including stuff off screen for accurate global illumination and reflections. The reshade effect only uses what's on screen and gives you rough approximations. I'm backing their patreon cause it's really fun to mess around with but it honestly doesn't come close to the real thing.

I'm not sure what the hell they were smoking when they ported Halo 4 to pc, but I'm running it maxed out at 1080p using an Intel i5-4250u and a pcie 1x adapted RX 550 4gb and I'm landing 60fps. It seems it's EXTREMELY optimized! I had more trouble running Reach with a 1% low of 10fps averaging around 30!

Eldewrito's forge controls were amazing, creating maps was very easy on both input methods. MCC feels very clunky, but it's not a mouse and keyboard problem.

One thing I'm looking forward to is the revamp mods like we saw with Ruby Rebalanced and Reach Evolved. I would love to see a mod that rebalances the weapons and AI to breathe new life into the sandbox. Imagine being able to import H2A assets to make Halo 4 look more like the next step in the look of the franchise. This game really was a diamond in the rough.

This game is my second favorite after CE. Halo 4 is the best looking Halo game in my opinion, with the best art direction and most realism. Even back when it was released it looked as good as any console game regardless of system. Today it still looks better than many games released more recently. I still play it often with my buddies.

I absolutely love the art style and graphical attention 343 put into Halo 4. It makes me sad that they backpedalled on their vision for Halo when it came to pleasing the fans for Infinite. I'm all for keeping the original art style alive in some form, but Infinite looks like a game started by Bungie and finished by 343. These versions of the Master Chief's armour and Cortana are incredible and above anything Bungie had accomplished in my eyes.

Massive Halo fan and I have to admit, 343’s art style gets shit on too much. Yes, it’s nowhere near as good as Bungie’s art style as that is Halo for me and many others, but 343 did their own take and it was still very good. It’s only the Elites being too Brute like that is my biggest problem, but apart from that, it still has a Halo feel to it.

I personally can’t wait for this. I’m not that old, being in high school, but when this game came out, my brother and I, who’s young, played the hell out of the forge multiplayer, creating huge battlefields where designed to look worn and old, like the battle was a long time ago and the survivors left all their least important gear when they left. We unfortunately stopped until the MCC’s launch of its forge, where we once again went at it. Thanks to the upgraded controls of the Xbox ones controllers, we made it even bigger, pushing the engine to its limits as we tried to stuff as many tanks and warthogs into ragnorak (I don’t actually know how to spell that). I can’t wait for the pc’s launch, where now I can create similar memory’s with people who moved away long ago. And, thanks to the new cargo hog, broadsword and pelican forge vehicles, we plan to finally finish our dream battle fields

Thanks to this port I can play modded halo campaign on my monitor or TV with any controller I want with and at framerates greater then 120 fps (and even lower my graphics to get even higher framerates for competitive play) and change my fov. This is the definitive way to play halo

My only gripe with Halo 4, aside from loadouts, are the hud of the ranged weapons, they limit visibility a lot, ironic coming from weapons that its main strength it's supposed to be its high vision range, and the brightness of the game, is just too much

I went out a couple years ago and bought a used xbox 360 for $50 and got halo combat evolved remastered and played through. I was disappointed to see that halo 2 remastered was not available on the 360. I went full pc and then they dropped the MCC and I replayed through all the old games and then even played through halo 4 which I never had the chance to. It's amazing to see the series alive and well now.

The main difference between late 7th gen and 8th gen is usually the textures. 360 just didn’t have as much video memory compared to the Xbox One. If the textures ever get a 4K upgrade it’d look really good cause the geometry of objects is already good.

Series X may be able to do high frame rates and resolution, but PC is still king because it's the only way to play at Ultrawide (21:9) resolutions like 3440x1440.

I've been an FPS PC player for years now, but I did move to PC from the Xbox 360. At first I was really bad at aiming with the mouse and had to play games with my 360 controller, but after playing CSGO it forced me to learn the basics of mouse aiming. Now after 6 years of mouse aiming, I can't aim on controllers very well at all anymore because of the aim acceleration that I'm just not used to anymore.

sprint is actually isnt that a big issue, it is just halo reach sprint but as a permanent mechanic the things i didnt like were the loadout enhancements, they really complicate the gameplay, like for example, i want to have two rifles in my load out, i have to select the firepower tactical package just to add the desired weapon i want in the second slot. also the jetpack is really weak in halo 4, it just depletes in like 4-5 seconds.

On 360 and Xbox one I always hated Halo 4. I hated how they changed the art style so much, however playing the PC flight COMPLETELY changed my mind. This game is truly gorgeous, sure it may not look like the other Halo games, but it really has some beautiful scenes and great visual effects for it’s time. I found myself playing through damn near all the content available in the Flight for hours, when back in the day I couldn’t stand playing even the campaign for more than 20 minutes without a friend to run with. Halo 4 on PC feels like a remaster compared to the old game and really allows it to show it’s true potential. Hell, at times i felt like I was playing on old Halo Infinite build or something. Plus: Cortana Thicc

5:00 the Halo 3 vehicle turn speed is a fickle matter. It breaks balance in this sense, as the bullet will fire where your crosshair is, NOT where the turret points. Very difficult sneaking up on pc player wraiths and tanks when they can spin around and shoot you faster than a console player

I still believe Reach was more impressive on technical level all considering: mostly huge areas filled with a platea of NPCs running on complex AI routines and fantastic looking particle effects! Halo 4 reduced all those aspects that made the game great in first place for the sole sake of more geometry. It did look pretty though, I give you that!

I mean I like my PC more than the Xbox Series X. I have considered getting a Series S instead, didn't sell me on the switch. Also, the other thing about the Tank delayed aiming started back on Halo:Reach so you can thank Bungie for that since 343 thought about following on Bungie's footsteps, you can see it on Halo 4, Halo 5, and upcoming in Infinite. Seriously though, you can cook up Reach and see the nerfing of the tank and compare that to Halo 3. But, I really didn't find anything else wrong.

Why can't Halo 5 just come to PC, they brought the Forge... It's literally the only Halo game that's locked onto a console. Even the Spartan Assault games are on PC now. @@SameToken - Nice. I was playing the original game and made a list of Forerunner details. The Forerunners didn’t build Halo to kill the Flood, they built Halo to kill off the Flood’s food. The “designers” wanted the installation to have inclement weather. The “builders” must posses incredible terraforming technology, as the ring supports wildlife. People are really American-centric sometimes. We forgot that in Asia people play on PCs more than consoles. Those really good Korean players that you see in tourneys most likely game on PC, even for fighting games like Tekken 7 or Street Fighter V. I think more people should play on PC, so they can stop wasting money on Xbox Live Gold or PS+! But... different machines serve different needs and I can see why consoles are nice. They're simple, and that's why I despise them so much. Hence PC is my preferred platform 11 times out of 10.

I have been playing Halo since Halo 2, in a more competitive way on Halo 3 and Reach. Also I have been playing mostly on PC for the last 10 years and let me tell you that the aim assist on the controller is a god send I may have been back in the day on xbox but now with mouse and keyboard on mp my hand would shake or I would bump into my keyboard with the mouse and ruin a kill or would just not be as accurate as I should lol

Super controversial opinion here but i like what 343 has done with the lore more than what Bungie had done, sort of like how the Star Wars EU (pre-Disney) was way better than the OT.

200% agreement, 343 really fleshed out the lore, the Glasslands novel, the “Hunt The Truth” miniseries, the books about Serin Osman that gave you a peek into the life of non-SPARTANs, it was glorious And now 343 is throwing it all away because a vocal minority of players let their nostalgia do the thinking

I recommend always playing FPshooters/racing sims/aircraft games with a controller. Especially when they are intentionally developed for gamepad control. You can always use a PS3/4/5 or Xbox controller on PC gaming, or just simply buy a competent PC gamepad.

The accuracy advantage for M&K on halo is literally unfair, idk what token is talking about there. You can literally beam people across the map in H2/A multiplayer to the point where a controller player would probably quit out of frustration. Using a sniper in halo reach MP is a guaranteed 8 kills with M&K. Token just sounds bad with mouse tbh

@@ThePurpleSquares1 If you say so. I personally have never taken the time to adapt to mouse and keyb gaming. I saved my PS3 controller when the console died on me, then got into PC gaming 18 months ago and I'm just rolling with the dualshock 3 controller and feel very confident with it.

Seeing this game in 4k HDR on Xbox One X for first time last year was really an experience. Hell playing all of them in that quality was amazing. Still a great game graphically and story wise. Much better story than Halo 5.
