There's something special about being out in the woods with your dog, but especially how good the food taste that you cook over the campfire.

Another awesome video! I definitely like where you set your hammock up! I would of brought the french press but would of forgot the tarp! Your Dinner and Breakfast choices were great. I can see your the cook at any campsite! Definitely a big thanks for making this video. I don't think most people realize what it takes to put one together! As always thanks for sharing your adventure and I look forward to seeing your next one! Rick From Virginia

Thank you for the kind words Rick! appreciate it :) You’re right I don’t think people realize a video like this takes around 40 hours to complete from the beginning of camping to posting on KZbin and it’s harder (but much more fulfilling) than any job I’ve ever had. Thanks again and see you next time!

Can't say this was a solo trip, your furry friend would have something to say about that, nice backwoods trip, enjoyed it. Just found your channel and it's a keeper.

Nice video, just a question not a critique, why use a jet oil when you lit a perfectly good fire, in fact why why carry it out there at all if you lighting a fire? I was just wondering that’s all so thought I would ask……..😆 Take care
@AtlasAdventures2 жыл бұрын
Haha fair enough. My tin pot/cup that I would use to boil water was recently stolen with numerous other things so I’ve been lazy and resorting to the jet boil instead of buying a new one 🤣

Whuta great campout.i do suggest a better hammock though.yer a tall feller like me and I bet an 11 footer with a ridgeline would be a lot more cumfertable.....

I have a strange question. How do you take care of your dirty dishes? You cook some awesome meals but i know there is a mess afterwards.
@AtlasAdventures Жыл бұрын
Welllll… first I let atlas lick them clean best she can then I have wet wipes to finish them off. That usually does the job haha
@ladyofjazz448 Жыл бұрын

You have a backpack and a duffel that you carry.. Having done ALOT of trail camping, the stress of carrying that duffel is substantial…..How far are you Going? Could it all been consolidated into a little larger pack? What are you trying to Demonstrate???????
@AtlasAdventures2 жыл бұрын
It wasnt quite a mile trek and I don’t have a larger pack so used what I had. I’m not really trying to demonstrate anything… just making a chill camp video, wasn’t meant for to be educational
@LenserX2 жыл бұрын
I predict you will start a wildfire within the year if that is your usual fire discipline.
@AtlasAdventures2 жыл бұрын
Wet ground, damp everything, cleared brush, few feet away, no rocks around for a ring As well as making hundreds of campfires over the years and in places like dry California my level of discipline is right where it needed to be for the situation ;)
