Our friends used a stock 5E engine, bolted a WRX stock turbo on it, added a Haltech E6K, and Walbro 256L fuel pump and made the same power. The 5E engines are strong, and the automatic tranny handled it quite well too.

why clickbait about GR Yaris? this has nothing about rally/track etc. No one doubts about the built, 4efte is a great base to tune, but lets be honest. the starlet is a budget drag/street racing car. it has nothing to do about cornering... btw, well done for the built, its beautiful and i hope reliable! my 2 cents. 🙂

That’s mad you say that.. I had a glanza with 220horse, some whiteline bars and a quaife diff and honestly nothing could catch me in the corners or point to point.. being half a ton lighter then a golf r might have something to do with it.
