Hamza your on point here, i remember how i felt and what i did as a child was considered "bad" or out of control when all i really was doing was having fun with friends being a boy. But over the years me being me was beaten out of me physically and mentally by everyone around me. Being by myself for awhile and following my own lead blocking out the noise of the world has been the absolute best thing I've ever done as i find myself slowly becoming that little boy again that i lost so long ago i almost forgot about him. You only have one shot at this life, do the best you can everyday for you not for ANYONE else.

I swear the most dangerous part of self improvement is that you'll be attracting females that you never did, and you'll 'fall' for one. From there you slowly go back to your Jeffery ways because you're comfortable then you find that she's not interested and you wonder why.. then when she leaves you you realize how much you've fallen compared to when you first attracted her 🤷🏾‍♂️ be vigilant guys.

I had a step-father who was a piece of shit. Drug addict, violent with my mother and with me, disgusting like a dog and so many worse things. He also had many manly parts. Sadly he was making such a job being a bad person that I ended up blocking in my life any male characteristic that would ever resemble him. I tried so hard to don't look at women sexually, to ever be aggresive to other men, etc. I have spent years healing and trying to love my own masculinity. Every man should not allow himself to give a bad example that would ever weaken masculinity in this world. We have to be able to use violence to defend and to attack, but using violence without need against innocents has weakened masculinity. Shit like "toxic masculinity" is here because of those who were not up to the strength god gave them

My mum always told me that if someone wants to change you, you shouldn't let. Thank you for making this video, it's helpful for everyone, for us as well... I was always boyish during school and thinking about it as we grew up it changed me too and dropping into teenhood I started to struggle with my image, or basically anything related to myself because I was the same person as before, but for girls being pretty became important, being with the popular boys, etc and we start to become obsessed with it. It took me almost a decade after high school to accept that I'm fine on my own, I don't need validation from others and I should enjoy what I have and live my life. It feels good! So yes, thank you for making the video and wish you the best.

Helping other young men who have been down and out, depressed and even self-harming at some points like I was transform their lives to the kind of place I feel I'm in now where I feel driven, fit, attractive, confident, focused and masculine, that's my fucking mission and god damn it fires me up.

Hamza, Thank you for this raw truth. You have pulled me back from becoming feminine and complicent. I had relationships and I broke them because of my purpose. I thought I was bad but looking back they were holding me back. Letting them go and becoming more masculine is fulfilling me. I'm at level where I attract similer people like me. One of them alligns with my purpose. Becoming a better man than my father or ancestors could ever be. I am now leading a person that has more potential than younger me. He was influenced by Jeffreies. He was going on a downhill in life so I lent a hand. He accepted a second time and now I got the knowledges from you, Hamza. So, I WILL make him become more confident, more social and more masculine. We will grow together. I am grateful and thankful for your relentless efforts to spread the message, Hamza and Sam. Keep conquering the obstacles especially when they're difficult.

Hamza, i have a friend that is always talking about how "ugly" he is and that no one likes him and things like that, i know he's genuinely a good person inside and i like hanging out around him, but once he starts saying those things it's like he's transfering his negativity into me. He's the kind of people that eats cheeseburgers and drinks Soda while playing video games 24/7, i already tried to convince him to change his habits and become a better person, but he always mocks me for trying to help him. I know i should cut off with he, but seeing him that down bad makes me feel pity for him and i don't want to make his situation any worse I'm really confused in what to do next, so i will just leave a comment in one of your videos, hoping that someone could give me advice.

Hamza, great video. One of the most interesting points in your video was the point regarding comparison and competition. I do agree that comparison is a healthy and natural part of dealing with people, but I do want to point something out. I do believe that a distinction needs to be made between your point and my point, which I will elaborate on: I did a 1 hour long journalling session, in which I tried to dig deep into my insecurities. This is also while I'm reading the book Psycho-Cybernetics. I realized that most of my insecurities stemmed from ego, and me attaching my self-esteem to things like girls, my performance in sports (I am a Premier Level Club Cricketer in Canada and Singapore), my popularity and other things. It was through journalling in which I realized I was attaching my self esteem to competing to impress people. After realizing this, I thought much more clear, and adopted the points of Maxwell Maltz (There is no inferior/superior, there is only YOU) and Jordan Peterson (Compare yourself only to the man you were yesterday, because humans are so multi-faceted and multi-dimensional). Hence, while I really do believe that men should compete, I really do think sociaety has come up with the bs that "Don't compete with others" as people haven't realized the root of the problem; attaching your ego and self worth to specific external things. How do you feel about this? Do you think there is a difference between comepting and comparing?

I was punished in school for liking heavy metal, action movies, combat sports, tattoos, motorcycles. All pretty natural boy-interests, if you ask me. We had to write a story as an essay, and I wrote a horror story, I got punished for that also. They forced me to go to many different psychologists, because they thought something was wrong with me, that I would grow up to be a wife-beater or violent person. Now looking back I was just a fucking boy, and I got punished for being a natural boy.

Good on you for prioritizing your purpose Hamza, whatever it is. Say what you will but it is not masculine to feel proud about causing someone to experience heartbreak for no fault of their own. Wouldn't you say that you shouldn't get into a relationship until you've completed your missions? Specifically the ones you need to keep away from relationships to fulfill? Personally, I have not pursued any woman as yet because I'm not around enough of them to find one that aligns with my purpose. As for casual relationships, I am not decided on the morality of it, but I'm inclined to think they might be ok. Some guys need to either be monks or only have casual relationships with that being made crystal clear to the girl they are into.

From personal experience, DO NOT listen to what Hamza has to say about comparison. Comparison WILL drain your energy and lower your self esteem. It will produce nothing useful. Believe me, I spend many days comparing myself to others and the only thing it has caused is pain and depression. Compare yourself against your values. Against what your ideal self is, not against your friends. I couldnt help but shake my head when he said this. It's some pretty fucked up advice.

Not related to the video but can anyone suggest me some tips or methods on how to have a more masculine personality. I'm currently 16 on my summer holiday after GCSE and for most of my life in social interaction I've just always acted feminine. For a while I've been making firm progress as an individual, working on projects, getting a job, staying consistent with calisthenics and the gym as well as starting martial arts. I'm advancing in a more masculine lifestyle and have made substantial progress already. A problem that I've been trying to figure out for a few months now is gaining a masculine personality. I look 24 at 16, have a beard, imposing stature and seem masculine all until I open my mouth. My voice is high pitched but I can work around that, however my personality ESPECIALLY around women and girls, is that of a high school girl, my personality is an oxymoron to my appearance. I've been raised and conditioned by women my entire life and have never had any strong masculine role models around me often to be influenced by. I'm trying to undo the femininity and up the masculinity but the feminine personality is just subconscious and probably core to me at this point. I'm sure I can solve this overtime but any help to point me in the right direction would be MASSIVELY appreciated.

Spend more time around men (not jeffreys) This one is very important, get out of your comfort zone. Go and do things you're afraid of, or things that seems tough. Go mountain biking, try surfing, fencing, boxing, rock climbing, there's so many things you can do that are hard and will get you out of your comfort zone. And lastly, believe that you are more masculine. Hamza talked about this, but you need to believe that you're more masculine so you end up being more masculine

@@user-eh2eu5wb3s greatly appreciate the tips. I’ve grown substantially in the past 2 weeks. If i feel anxious/uncomfortable about a certain thing it instantly becomes a MUST for me to conquer that fear and GET IT DONE. So far I’ve been able to tackle all my anxieties successfully. I intend to compete in amateur fights probably around next year since im 2 weeks into muay thai rn haha. But I’ll take your advice and actively start looking for another tough af challenge to take on. I don’t have any personally know predominantly masculine people and I don’t really click like that with my friend groups, however im sure as i continue going to muay thai class every week the lads there will have an influence on me as i get to know them all. I’m going to have to put some conscious effort in maintaining a masculine personality at work tho since I’m the only dude there most of the time. Thanks for the advice, very valuable

@mhencho
@mhencho 2 жыл бұрын
@@anwin4505 im assuming you’re talking about GCSE crossing with self improvement. Next year will probably get stressful, i started revising properly from March 1st, 3h a day which was the same time i took Self improvement SERIOUS. Although i got good revision for paper 1s i did burn out on exam months and literally had 2 or 1 day revision sessions for paper 2 and 3s. My self improvement went out the window and i got into a fustrating mental health rut and my self improvement crashed from May until the final day of GCSE. If i had another go at approaching year 11 this is what id do, and what I recommend you to do. To reduce revision pressure start watching 1-3 GCSE revision clips a day on whichever subjects you look to improve or get good with and balance them out. Please start ASAP and at least by JANUARY. I PROMISE it will save you from HELLA pressure. GCSE will get in the way of self improvement inevitably so whenever that happens I recommend only keep two self improvement practices, ideally one being fitness. For me it was calisthenics and my craft (drawing) to improve on and also plan out a good roadmap for your self improvement as soon as GCSE ends and Summer holiday comes. This will be a test of patience and a reward of delayed gratification. My holiday started 2 weeks ago and ive fucking charged with my self improvement at my goals:Gym, Job, Socialising, Drawing, Part time job, Piano, started Muay Thai and have made insane progress already, feels like a months worth of work, i feel like a new man haha. It’s freaking amazing! So trust me bro, do the mini revision sessions asap to ease the GCSE pressure. And when the pressure inevitably comes, keep 2 self improvement practices until GCSE ends. And if my advice saves you from the potential burn out and mental health rut, you can FUCKING CHARGE with your self improvement in the summer holiday with the plans you made during the wait. Ive made so much progress straight out of a mental health rut, so the progress you would make would be IMMENSE. I wish you all the best bro. You have a bumpy road ahead next year so please consider my advice to ease it. Tough it out warrior

I think it’s better to grow up weak and become masculine later on than to be a natural born chad. All the natural born chads are used to getting girls and being popular so they don’t really feel the desperate need to improve, and a lot of them end up peeking in high school or college and not doing anything else with their life. But those of us who have been at the bottom know just how terrible it is and will work hard to improve ourselves and achieve the life we want.

I have to say that as a 45 yo man, it hurts me to see what you guys are going through and had to go through. When i was young, i would come home with cuts, bruises, bleeding..etc..my mother would scold me for having blood on my clothes, my dad wouldn't even bat an eyelid. There was no "boys will be boys" or "let him be a boy" talk. None of that BS. We were all like that. It wasn't an option, it wasn't even considered that boys would be anything else. My legs are full of scars from my youth. I had marbles embedded below my skin, rocks everywhere, branches slashing my face, walls "kissing" my skull, was quite friendly with 2 nurses between age 12 and 15yo!! I kicked and punched and fought with my best friends, we would challenge each other until we would puke, totally bullying the ones who failed. No kid i was with would openly complain about being bullied or things would get even worse. Safe space....go kick rocks!! There were losers and winners and you'd better be on the winners side because until you did, things weren't always peachy. I am sure every single man of my age tried shaving his face when he was 10yo, usually with his grandfather, because that was "what men did" and because mine fought in WW2 and i had to be as tough as he was! Shaving chest hair, armpit hair, leg hair, ball hair...yeah sure, if you were a girl or else you'd be called "gay". You were told "you got hair to make foam with your soap". End of!! There was no prisoner, there was no 2nd thought, there was no apologies. I know no one who was asked to apologize, either by parents or teachers, for being physical with another boy. Teachers were physical too, you knew exactly when things were about to get dicey...once in a while you didn't give a crap and you crossed that line. Same with parents. A day without a back of a hand was odd and i was well disciplined to be fair!! As soon as any of us could grow something that would have resembled a "beard", we all did it. That was our battle sign, our creed, you got beard = MAN!!! Puberty and acne only meant that we were getting closer to being men. I know no one would went to see a doctor to treat acne, water and soap was all we had. School holidays meant you had to work, public transport, or bicycle or foot. I can count on 1 hand the number of fat kids i was with in every single grade, most of us were lean and physical because, like in the animal kingdom, we knew the bigger, stronger, taller one would get the girls. Everything was a competition, i jumped (often quite frightened) from stupidly high cliffs, i swam in stupid cold water or over stupid distance, i would jump off my grandpa boat and swim back ashore, climb trees as high as i could,etc..etc..etc..and i never thought twice about it. Clothes were something you threw on so that you wouldn't go naked, nothing else. Cold, wind, rain, heat, didn't matter as long as you didn't trash your clothes cause you knew your mom would get pretty active when you were back home. We wouldn't see each other over summer holidays but as you grew older you knew you had to level up during summer because others would. Only a few of us cared about girls before we were 18yo, girls were found at university and because we knew we would have to compete with real men then, we all took real good care of being (early) men by end of highschool. We had honor and a strict code, we knew how things could quickly go south but if you were heading that direction there was only 1 option: man up, right or wrong!! A handshake was a game to see if you could crush the other guy's hand whilst looking into his soul. I remember telling a teacher when i was 18yo that she had to mind her manners and how she talked to us since some of us were legal adults. Nothing happened, she look surprised but also, weirdly, accepting. No one called my parents, i wasn't called to the directors office, none of that BS. Thinking about it i also told a teacher (same year) that he was full of crap and he wasn't teaching us but vaguely paraphrasing the textbook...same result Now i have a 10 yo son and he is being brought up that way. My wife used to challenge me about it until i told her that if that was so bad then why did she marry me since i have always been like that. Since then she has opened her eyes more and sees the danger that society is to young boys (and girls too with premature over sexualisation). Being a man was earnt, no given because you were legally of age. It you were a scrawny little piece of work at 18yo, you were never a man. Oddly, considering how much of little shits we were, people cared about us, how we grew up, how we matured (in the true sense of the word), how we became men. Society nowadays doesn't give a rat's ass. If you don't have a man as a role model in your family it is quite difficult to find your way. Remember this, when shit hits the fan, society won't care if you are an influencer, you shave your body hair, you use beauty products, your a player or anything else. They will put you in front of incoming bullets, so you might as well train yourself with incoming fists!!!

@@FocusedBunnY My father was only at home to eat and sleep, the rest like you away working. I can recall a year when i heard him but maybe saw him 10% of the time. I knew he was about, so i had to keep it "together"..still, i was a little shit!!! he picked me up by my neck once and i pissed my pants, i can picture it even now!!! My mother was heavy handed, she had to. I think my luck was that she was raised in a family of army boys, 2 brothers, a (also) mostly absent father fighting all around the world, so she had pretty strict views. As far as my son (and my daughter) is concerned, he hasn't got a choice and he doesn't really know anything else. not so long ago he spent 2 weeks with my parents, when he came back the 1st thing he told me was "now i know why you are the way you are"...didn't have to say more, i knew exactly what he meant!! 🙂 The most interesting thing is that as long as you are fair, show love and interested in your kids growth, they will understand why being soft all the time isn't the right way forward, so now he thinks he is a ninja and (tries to) jump me...he watched a couple of boxing video and thinks he "is him" to quote him. Point is, regardless how you were raised, i do believe that at some point you will realize if there is an issue and will adjust it, not only for you but also for your children. Children are the magic potion, they make you look into your soul and question who you are and what they mean to you, they will make you a better person because you owe it to them.

Not true at all. A few months ago, a girl that was clearly lower value than me demanded an apology for something that was a misunderstanding. She was so demanding about it, sending me paragraphs of text explaining everything. I just ghosted her. Maybe she perceived me as lower value than her? It’s possible, but I don’t really care what she thinks to be honest. I know for a fact based on the way I live my life and the standards I have set for myself that I’m higher value than she is.

Us as men are important, we matter. Not from some self help shit saying "your okay the way you are" No, men are literally the building blocks or society. The feminists can comply all they won't, but if/when our society becomes so effeminate, and we're basically all women at this point, another society full of barbarian testosterone filled tyronts ain't gonna give a shit about some gender wage gap, or patriarchy. I remember in highschool i started to notice the feminisation of young men but didn’t think much of it. Well a year in I started becoming more feminine and weak. However one man changed that for me, my drama teacher. He was an older guy who was swole as fuck and would tease and bully everyone who walked into his class, students teachers and anyone. And while some thought it was bad behaviour something just felt right about his way of being. His influence grew on me and I could tell I was one of his favourite students because he got me into the gym, he taught me how to get started and so much. I’ll forever be grateful to him.

Which i disagree with when i thing of someone masculine it is someone that is strong, brave, and respectful (there are more but imma list a few). That in itself is not toxic. People use the example that the dad tells his son to not cry not express his feeling but when this happens it isnt just men. Mother, sisters, and girlfriends tell a young boy the exact same thing it not just the father that imposes that on its child that toxic trait isnt only expressible on male figures but rather everyone. There's a lot I can point out. What you are saying strengthens the belief that gender is a social construct. That every man can have his own definition of what it means to be a man. Like for one guy shaving armpit hairs has no effect on his masculinity, for other it does. Be yourself means that a man can choose to be feminine, which I believe you would not be okay with since we are under the comment section of a channel that promotes machismo under disguise of "self improvement." So what is "boys being boys" or "let boys be" all about? Does that mean letting boys get into bloody brawls? We encourage men to be violent and then cry about male homicide rates. Many people justify cat calling and sexual harassment as something "men do" or "boys will be boys." So what it really means to let boys be? Whatever you gonna point out, also explain why those traits can be found only in men, esp heterosexual men, and not gays or women. I feel like the easiest way to trick men is to make them feel weak. Then you can sell them anything you want.
@dimasskarabas
@dimasskarabas Жыл бұрын
@@ubaidbutt9709 Let's face it. Absolute most urban and suburban men do not harass women or catcall. The only ones that believe that it is male nature are village Willys. Cat-calling and sexual harassment is what weak men, like you, do.

If one reads the book of provers the bible is against several of the "masculine" things you mentioned. These include swearing, argumentativeness, and pride. I thin the main idea of this video is to allow for your inner masculinity to shine. But what got unspoken about is that inner masculinity is evil by nature, the way f man may seem right in his own eyes, but Christ looks at his soul.
