I think it’s better to grow up weak and become masculine later on than to be a natural born chad. All the natural born chads are used to getting girls and being popular so they don’t really feel the desperate need to improve, and a lot of them end up peeking in high school or college and not doing anything else with their life. But those of us who have been at the bottom know just how terrible it is and will work hard to improve ourselves and achieve the life we want.

Hamza your on point here, i remember how i felt and what i did as a child was considered "bad" or out of control when all i really was doing was having fun with friends being a boy. But over the years me being me was beaten out of me physically and mentally by everyone around me. Being by myself for awhile and following my own lead blocking out the noise of the world has been the absolute best thing I've ever done as i find myself slowly becoming that little boy again that i lost so long ago i almost forgot about him. You only have one shot at this life, do the best you can everyday for you not for ANYONE else.

I remember in highschool i started to notice the feminisation of young men but didn’t think much of it. Well a year in I started becoming more feminine and weak. However one man changed that for me, my drama teacher. He was an older guy who was swole as fuck and would tease and bully everyone who walked into his class, students teachers and anyone. And while some thought it was bad behaviour something just felt right about his way of being. His influence grew on me and I could tell I was one of his favourite students because he got me into the gym, he taught me how to get started and so much. I’ll forever be grateful to him.

I swear the most dangerous part of self improvement is that you'll be attracting females that you never did, and you'll 'fall' for one. From there you slowly go back to your Jeffery ways because you're comfortable then you find that she's not interested and you wonder why.. then when she leaves you you realize how much you've fallen compared to when you first attracted her 🤷🏾‍♂️ be vigilant guys.

Not true at all. A few months ago, a girl that was clearly lower value than me demanded an apology for something that was a misunderstanding. She was so demanding about it, sending me paragraphs of text explaining everything. I just ghosted her. Maybe she perceived me as lower value than her? It’s possible, but I don’t really care what she thinks to be honest. I know for a fact based on the way I live my life and the standards I have set for myself that I’m higher value than she is.

@@SergeantAngel Nah i dont agree with this. I feel like "toxic masculinity" is attributing toxic traits to and only to masculinity. Which i disagree with when i thing of someone masculine it is someone that is strong, brave, and respectful (there are more but imma list a few). That in itself is not toxic. People use the example that the dad tells his son to not cry not express his feeling but when this happens it isnt just men. Mother, sisters, and girlfriends tell a young boy the exact same thing it not just the father that imposes that on its child that toxic trait isnt only expressible on male figures but rather everyone. So in my opinion Toxic masculinity doesn't exist but instead confused with Toxic traits. Edit: spelling

I have to say that as a 45 yo man, it hurts me to see what you guys are going through and had to go through. When i was young, i would come home with cuts, bruises, bleeding..etc..my mother would scold me for having blood on my clothes, my dad wouldn't even bat an eyelid. There was no "boys will be boys" or "let him be a boy" talk. None of that BS. We were all like that. It wasn't an option, it wasn't even considered that boys would be anything else. My legs are full of scars from my youth. I had marbles embedded below my skin, rocks everywhere, branches slashing my face, walls "kissing" my skull, was quite friendly with 2 nurses between age 12 and 15yo!! I kicked and punched and fought with my best friends, we would challenge each other until we would puke, totally bullying the ones who failed. No kid i was with would openly complain about being bullied or things would get even worse. Safe space....go kick rocks!! There were losers and winners and you'd better be on the winners side because until you did, things weren't always peachy. I am sure every single man of my age tried shaving his face when he was 10yo, usually with his grandfather, because that was "what men did" and because mine fought in WW2 and i had to be as tough as he was! Shaving chest hair, armpit hair, leg hair, ball hair...yeah sure, if you were a girl or else you'd be called "gay". You were told "you got hair to make foam with your soap". End of!! There was no prisoner, there was no 2nd thought, there was no apologies. I know no one who was asked to apologize, either by parents or teachers, for being physical with another boy. Teachers were physical too, you knew exactly when things were about to get dicey...once in a while you didn't give a crap and you crossed that line. Same with parents. A day without a back of a hand was odd and i was well disciplined to be fair!! As soon as any of us could grow something that would have resembled a "beard", we all did it. That was our battle sign, our creed, you got beard = MAN!!! Puberty and acne only meant that we were getting closer to being men. I know no one would went to see a doctor to treat acne, water and soap was all we had. School holidays meant you had to work, public transport, or bicycle or foot. I can count on 1 hand the number of fat kids i was with in every single grade, most of us were lean and physical because, like in the animal kingdom, we knew the bigger, stronger, taller one would get the girls. Everything was a competition, i jumped (often quite frightened) from stupidly high cliffs, i swam in stupid cold water or over stupid distance, i would jump off my grandpa boat and swim back ashore, climb trees as high as i could,etc..etc..etc..and i never thought twice about it. Clothes were something you threw on so that you wouldn't go naked, nothing else. Cold, wind, rain, heat, didn't matter as long as you didn't trash your clothes cause you knew your mom would get pretty active when you were back home. We wouldn't see each other over summer holidays but as you grew older you knew you had to level up during summer because others would. Only a few of us cared about girls before we were 18yo, girls were found at university and because we knew we would have to compete with real men then, we all took real good care of being (early) men by end of highschool. We had honor and a strict code, we knew how things could quickly go south but if you were heading that direction there was only 1 option: man up, right or wrong!! A handshake was a game to see if you could crush the other guy's hand whilst looking into his soul. I remember telling a teacher when i was 18yo that she had to mind her manners and how she talked to us since some of us were legal adults. Nothing happened, she look surprised but also, weirdly, accepting. No one called my parents, i wasn't called to the directors office, none of that BS. Thinking about it i also told a teacher (same year) that he was full of crap and he wasn't teaching us but vaguely paraphrasing the textbook...same result Now i have a 10 yo son and he is being brought up that way. My wife used to challenge me about it until i told her that if that was so bad then why did she marry me since i have always been like that. Since then she has opened her eyes more and sees the danger that society is to young boys (and girls too with premature over sexualisation). Being a man was earnt, no given because you were legally of age. It you were a scrawny little piece of work at 18yo, you were never a man. Oddly, considering how much of little shits we were, people cared about us, how we grew up, how we matured (in the true sense of the word), how we became men. Society nowadays doesn't give a rat's ass. If you don't have a man as a role model in your family it is quite difficult to find your way. Remember this, when shit hits the fan, society won't care if you are an influencer, you shave your body hair, you use beauty products, your a player or anything else. They will put you in front of incoming bullets, so you might as well train yourself with incoming fists!!!

@@FocusedBunnY My father was only at home to eat and sleep, the rest like you away working. I can recall a year when i heard him but maybe saw him 10% of the time. I knew he was about, so i had to keep it "together"..still, i was a little shit!!! he picked me up by my neck once and i pissed my pants, i can picture it even now!!! My mother was heavy handed, she had to. I think my luck was that she was raised in a family of army boys, 2 brothers, a (also) mostly absent father fighting all around the world, so she had pretty strict views. As far as my son (and my daughter) is concerned, he hasn't got a choice and he doesn't really know anything else. not so long ago he spent 2 weeks with my parents, when he came back the 1st thing he told me was "now i know why you are the way you are"...didn't have to say more, i knew exactly what he meant!! 🙂 The most interesting thing is that as long as you are fair, show love and interested in your kids growth, they will understand why being soft all the time isn't the right way forward, so now he thinks he is a ninja and (tries to) jump me...he watched a couple of boxing video and thinks he "is him" to quote him. Point is, regardless how you were raised, i do believe that at some point you will realize if there is an issue and will adjust it, not only for you but also for your children. Children are the magic potion, they make you look into your soul and question who you are and what they mean to you, they will make you a better person because you owe it to them.

Us as men are important, we matter. Not from some self help shit saying "your okay the way you are" No, men are literally the building blocks or society. The feminists can comply all they won't, but if/when our society becomes so effeminate, and we're basically all women at this point, another society full of barbarian testosterone filled tyronts ain't gonna give a shit about some gender wage gap, or patriarchy. Sadly he was making such a job being a bad person that I ended up blocking in my life any male characteristic that would ever resemble him. I tried so hard to don't look at women sexually, to ever be aggresive to other men, etc. I have spent years healing and trying to love my own masculinity. Every man should not allow himself to give a bad example that would ever weaken masculinity in this world. We have to be able to use violence to defend and to attack, but using violence without need against innocents has weakened masculinity. Hamza, your channel is amazing and your videos are so helpful and thought provoking. I hope you read this but if not I hope somebody else does and maybe it will help them somehow. You really hit home when you spoke of being scolded for having masculine impulses suppressed. I was born in the late 80s and grew up in the central US (Nebraska to be exact) . I remember going to school and we had this dude who was a bully. The mechanics of being a bully were a bit different in my school. We did not have a collection of bullies who had their individual targets. We had just one guy who tormented everyone whenever it was just their day. I remember when my day came in 2nd grade and I remember getting this aggressive feeling and thinking two things 1) I need to defend myself from this prick. 2) I need to neutralize this bastard so that he isn’t a threat to anyone else. I fought and fought on the playground for maybe 45-50 seconds with this guy and… I ended up losing (to be fair to myself he was supposed to have been in 4th grade but got held back twice so he was massive compared to me). But he never messed with me again. But as time went on all the way to 6th grade in 1999-2000 he bullied people but the guys who were not having it from him and fought back with tenacity. It wasn't fighting with any skilled technique but my fellow classmates fought like the Spartans at the Battle of Thermopylae. With every iota of spirit they were punching and kicking and then of course the teachers and school admin would come in and break it up. After which the bully would get a slap on the wrist because they were just so used to him being in trouble but the young men who were just defending themselves would try to explain that the prick started it but would just get hit with the “I don’t care who started it” and “violence doesn’t solve anything” lines. I still to this day remember watching these boys who fought like warriors have a confused look of anguish on their faces as they thought they were doing what their nature told them to do only to be scolded by some wuss of an adult feeding them shit information. The sad truth I have learned is that bullying is not solved by some stupid government programs or some lecturing, or anything like that. It is solved when the bully gets his dumbass knocked out in front of everyone by a tough son of a bitch and that is what the modern world has shut down hard. Then these men who have not been able to act on their positive masculine impulses grow up and end up doing stupid shit like picking up guns and doing awful things. I know a lot of the guys I saw fight our school bully and told they were wrong and evil have grown up to be shells of their former selves and mentally stunted. It's a travesty but I think it explains a lot of the weaknesses that exist today. I don’t normally share anything but with all the other members of your tribe doing so I thought I should this time.

There's a lot I can point out. What you are saying strengthens the belief that gender is a social construct. That every man can have his own definition of what it means to be a man. Like for one guy shaving armpit hairs has no effect on his masculinity, for other it does. Be yourself means that a man can choose to be feminine, which I believe you would not be okay with since we are under the comment section of a channel that promotes machismo under disguise of "self improvement." So what is "boys being boys" or "let boys be" all about? Does that mean letting boys get into bloody brawls? We encourage men to be violent and then cry about male homicide rates. Many people justify cat calling and sexual harassment as something "men do" or "boys will be boys." So what it really means to let boys be? Whatever you gonna point out, also explain why those traits can be found only in men, esp heterosexual men, and not gays or women. I feel like the easiest way to trick men is to make them feel weak. Then you can sell them anything you want.

Was quite a feminine guy growing up, rather emotional and really hated confrontation. But having learning about masculine and feminine energy I can say wow, I just just emotional but I was feminine, that has changed and I now find my self feeling masculine, not like 100% I still have much to do, but I have become more masculine, being stronger, more stoic etc and I feel great! Been able to control my emotions a lot more, I’m getting stronger more disciplined and I just fell great! But alas I am no where near where I want to be but I am making progress and I can fell and see it.

I’m thankfull for your work and you helped me build my current mindset and purpouse, structuring my priorities. However, I gladly and sadly will stop watching your videos, I feel fulfilled and ready to keep on with my mission and many “whys” in life. But modern technology takes no place in it and I’ll stay focused on my Ethos and in God. Through blood and hard work, structured by you in part, I’ll move on, my brother. With my dedication, faith, understanding of love and humility (Also developed skills through sacrifice and competition) I’ll go, live my blessed and beautiful life. Thank you, Hamza With love, Guilherme

33:20 Now that's what I call the hustle culture, doing everything gets you to your mission. Tbh, I agree with this, I agree that *most* of your decisions should be based on your mission but the rest can, it can be based on other things like a bit of chilling *without doing the bad habits* and rest. But no, doing and exhausting yourself to work just to get that feeling of accomplishment is just a senseless thing. I tried it and the moment I tried it, I was getting so unrestful, so much anxiety, like feeling down bad when the thing I am doing for just 5 mins wasn't deserving my purpose. Dudes, don't hate me, it's my opinion. People vary. I feel stressed out when I do that 100% things that serve my mission, whilst in your case, it might not.

Men are needed in today's society. As a Christian there is one thing that needs to be said, a fool is not a man. If one reads the book of provers the bible is against several of the "masculine" things you mentioned. These include swearing, argumentativeness, and pride. I thin the main idea of this video is to allow for your inner masculinity to shine. But what got unspoken about is that inner masculinity is evil by nature, the way f man may seem right in his own eyes, but Christ looks at his soul. TO be fair I am only 5 min into the video and my opinion may or may not change. Keep up the good work Hamza.

She tried to give me a DETENTION for doing PULL-UPS I even stood up for my self and wasn't even intimidated for such a silly thing which made her want to punish me more. So you know what I did? I think one of the most paradox, but most accurate parable to describe what masculinity is, is a tree: 1. It is strong 2. people and animals can find rest and protection under it or hiding in it 3. It is a provider (good and delicious fruits) 4. Peaceful and restful: not even a storm can shake it down. It stands proud & strong even if it rains, sun or cold comes.

Honestly I felt like I became a better person after a failed relationship through self development, gaining that masculine energy Hamza preaches, but I never knew how much it would be shut down or belittled for us expressing it. A part of it did feel natural, but the indoctrination of societies ideals made me feel "guilty" about it sometimes where people would call it "an up-the-ass ego" even if it was just my masculine energy being projected for achieving short-term or long-term goals. I just wanted to become a man of purpose for myself in the present and future rather than the Jeffery chasing quick gratification of toxic relationships to show off or hook-ups.
