What a beautiful video. My Dad didn't like fishing much but he used to take us because my Brother and I loved it. He bought us a boat when we were in our early teens and now he's no longer with us I miss him terribly. I have a video on my channel of me fishing with my daughter when she was little and that was precious time. She's 19 now! Fishing is a past time which family can do together and your video brought a tear to this grizzled old prop's eye. Thank you so much.

Keep a small tub of sea salt in your boat John. When Octopus curl up upside down and hold fast in the pot sprinkle them with the salt. They will release and move instantly. Makes your life easier.

Excellent video, as per usual, John and James! Went out for a morning snorkel session with a pal this morning, on a river. Mate speared a 5lb thorn back, and we found a few scallop. First EVER beach cooked scallop, fresh from the sea, and it was AMAZING!!! 🤍 To think, a year ago, John, I watched your videos thinking how lucky you are, living the dream, but after relocating, I too am living that dream!
