Cool video, being born and raised here we’ve found that icing down and then precleaning your crabs makes it easier to eat them. Also u forgot to mention u can’t keep females with eggs 😊enjoying your videos

I’m at oak island now and the fish aren’t really biting at all couple nibbles Had really good luck on ocean crest pier though, bites every cast from croaker and occasionally trout and pompano

I went down to Davis canal to set my crab trap with cut up crockers. To my surprise, fishing for fish, I pulled up a gator today instead of a crocker. That is the first gator I have seen on 26th street. Be careful on those banks!

Been here the past 2 days, my wife and i picked up 3 plate sized spadefish yesterday at ocean crest and we saw a big 3-4ft fish jump out the water i could swear was a tarpon. Also pulled in 2 puffers out of the waterway pier at sunset harbor

Different subject: I made a ghost shrimp pump but have not caught any yet. How deep do the ghost shrimp tend to be on Oak Island? Best places to look for them? I’ve been near the Oak Island Pier.

Go at low tide. Look for the holes that “smoke” pump them when the water goes over the holes. The pump works best when there is water and sand. The ghost shrimp are a few feet down so you might need to pump a hole a few times.

Lots of sharks. I haven’t been able to get out much but the one day I did, I fished the rising tide with fresh shrimp and live minnows and did well.
