It felt quite unstable being up on the scaffold so I decided to install a removable hand rail.

Jere - that handrail is almost mandatory. It would be foolish to mess around on a scaffold like that without something to grab on to in an emergency. Work safe, work long!

Ron, I was quite surprised at how unsafe I felt when I first got up on the scaffold. Just a few years ago I would not have thought much about it. Must be age related.

Great safety feature. I never gave height though when I was a younger man. I can't say that now that I'm fastly approaching 70. You can never be too safe.

I was quite surprised when I first got up on the scaffold how unsteady I felt. Just a few years ago it wouldn't be an issue. I was removing stuff from the walls and messing with the lights yesterday and felt safe having the hand rail near. Thanks. Jere

Hi Jere, Not sure if any folks around my part of the world could say they have pieces of a "sissy bar" from a sprint car that they built. ;) It always impresses me to see the amount of precision you put into everything you make.
