Cheers dude, it’s not I’ve gone anywhere just very busy, I’ve got 4 edits on the go at the moment and a vintage wadkin tool to restore/film. One vid is being delayed due to someone else having to do the last part and they still haven’t. New vid out tomorrow though 👍

That, is a wobbly workbench. Nice handle. Love beech :)
@HewAndAwe25 күн бұрын
Due to being in a smaller space the bench is now on collapsing wheels, I was just being lazy and not dropping it to the floor. Was a nice bit of figured beech, Josh’s bench is made from it.

Best part of a new handle is the fit in the hand.

Was my thoughts to, the screws didn’t match each other too, which kinda made me feel a little better when it rocked up broken that it wasn’t original.

You’ve lost me dude, can you enlighten me? Same comment with different times stamps and I could only think you meant the planer but I didn’t keep the 1 min run down in the edit, so I’m lost bud?
@BischBaschBoschАй бұрын
@@HewAndAwe Think he's referring to the wobble on the spade bit bud. More likely coming from the spade bit being shite or badly seated (hex shank?) than drill chuck run out. Spade bits ain't known (or intended) for engineering precision. Lovely handle btw dude.
@HewAndAweАй бұрын
@BischBaschBosch copy that, yeah spade bits are the last bit to use on my list for sure! Don’t always have the right size forstner bit, all mine aren’t with me at the new shop either. I just don’t have the space at the min.

@@HewAndAwe Sorry, some channels get weird with the time stamp. I noticed my comment didn't show up so I made a new comment without the time stamp. As for the "run-out" - it looked like your drill press (I'm in California - I think you guys call it a pillar drill?) had some SERIOUS wobble/run-out. I thought fixing that wobble might be an interesting video for you to make. However, after a second look, it might just be a wobbly drill bit...
@zenkenshokuninАй бұрын
@@BischBaschBosch BINGO! At first, I thought it was the drill chuck run out until I remembered being in that exact situation - only to finally realize it was a wobbly bit. It's never a good thing to have a "wobbly bit"...
