The true way to get people into history is to show them that their peoples have a name, a culture, an identity, and the richest history imaginable. That all the replacements for culture they fawn over are derived--intrinsically--from their real history. Game of Thrones was a bastardization of western European (specifically Germanic) history. Everyone loved Game of Thrones. But see history as boring because they've been taught to think that way, they've been stripped of their identity, their volkandaðu per se.

This is the first video on the festival where I've not only seen some of my fellow Statesmen, but there seems to be quite a few folks from the States there.
