Is it just me or was the audio very low on this one? The inner bark in English is the "phloem" or just simply "inner bark"

Cool, in Dutch we also call the inner living bark layer the 'Bast' and the outer hard dead layer we call 'Schors'

Bast is the same word in English. I must also comment that your living history group is very impressive. The amount of effort put into getting all of the little details right is simply astonishing.

With some friends we have been taking notes to try a viking hiking by our own... I hope we'll be doers rather than talkers... And getting alive after that XD

cool! I'm curious about the upcoming videos about your hike! i didn't understand, how the socks can dry 'stuffed in your pants' ? I'd ventilate them
@HandsonHistoryAS
@HandsonHistoryAS 6 жыл бұрын
Well, they dry better in your pants than out in the rain/moist on in minus degrees =)
@DarDarBinks1986
@DarDarBinks1986 6 жыл бұрын
I'd rather it be 25-30 degrees and hot out. I'm not converting it for the Luddites out there. Not all of us Americans cling to the backward mess of medieval weights and measures that King George III left behind. Then again, I'm biased in favor of warm weather because I live near a beach.
