The EPU is everything I want and nothing more. You guys weren't thrilled with the front end or unibody, but that's what's needed for an EV. Look at the ridiculously sized batteries in the Big 3 EV trucks and corresponding price. The front end isn't chunky because it needs to be aerodynamic and the sloped hood looks to direct wind smoothly over the windshield. The Unibody is lighter, allows a deep bed, and makes the midgate possible. A 6 foot bed in a crew cab! Look at the rear wheels positioned so far back. It will allow more rearward cargo weight like overhanging lumber. This is a revolutionary design and doesn't seem like many realize that yet.

Fisker also threw its hat in the midsized pickup game. The Alaska has its midgate motorized as standard, but I must admit, I prefer the exterior design of the EPU. Also, Toyota did a better job choosing paint and tire for their display model. All footage of the Fisker Alaska looks silly. They used low rolling resistance EV tires on their launch truck🥴. Not sure why on earth they'd do that. Toyota does have the upperhand when it comes to truck design, but Henrik should have the upperhand with the BEV internals. Eitherway, super excited to see EV midsized trucks on the roads. I suspect they may bite into the SUV market by a lot. Especially because they offer same interior space.

Completely agree! eCruiser is good and not difficult to come up with! The "TOYOTA" logo treatments are a great thing for the company. It infers capability and durability, something that Toyota has delivered on for years. Other companies have already caught on to this. Namely Ford with anything Raptor, Ram re-engineering the brand from the Dodge Ram logo. GMC and Jeep never adopted a non-lettered logo for this reason.

Even though the TPS manufacturer system is the best system in the world to do factory orders for customers since it is so flexible. Toyota says damn the customer, just buy what we send you! However David has a strategy to beat the system. Why should a customer have to try to beat the system when buying a $40,000 or more vehicle? Subaru lets you. I guess Toyota is above that. It’s crazy and Toyota owns 20% of Subaru.
