This is the best/most detailed review I've seen so far. I've just ordered my Canyon (went with the Denali) but the lead-time I was given was 6-8 mos from the factory, so if you're seriously interested you should keep that in mind. Price was $54 and change, which people are complaining is high but I think you'll get what you pay for.

I was really thinking of getting the AT4, butt dang this Denali just hits differently. If I'm spending 51K for the AT4 why not spend 8K more and get this beauty! Off-Roading in style!

Good review. I was able to test drive an AT4 and liked it. The only downside to me was no Homelink Garage door opener button. Not a big deal but with all the new tech, you'd think would have it. My 09 Avalanche has it! Have to go back to garage door opener on visor? Thanks.

Very nice exterior, especially with the 22's. I know its a pickup but I think they let it down with the hard touch upper door panel and hard touch upper dash. These are critical touch/visual points that can make a car feel quality and they cheaped out on it.

Personally thats about my only favorite midsize truck today. 2023 canyon denalis. Own a 2009 tacoma RN but i might consider this truck for now or when I make more money and need a full size truck to tow my horses I might go with the denali or denali ultimate GMC sierras. But that 2023 canyon denali would definitely make your life happier it's like a luxury midsize you reinvented thats how nice the cabin is.

All lights should be standard led on higher trims (in 2023 should be on all trims really, better lights better safety). Did we really need to control the lights from the info screen? Back seat space is noticeably smaller than say the Ridgeline. Otherwise, I like it!

Not sure what’s impressive about 19 or 20 mpg on a midsize pickup. Some full-size pickups do better than that.

Truck is bigger and weight 4700lbs and 2 inch lift 20 inch wheels and front bumper is cut for " off road" and dont have air dam thats why. But hey if you don't like just dont buy it 😁 i order a 23 elevation and can't wait to have it

My 2015 4 door, 4wd, Silverado gets 18 mpg combined. I’m just saying those mpg numbers are horrible for a small truck but overall very beautiful

@3:05 Interestingly, the GMC website says the tail lamps are LED... I wonder if they just mean the accents or if you guys might have a pre-production version... Or the website is just wrong...

It's clearly the nicest mid-sized when it comes to luxury and such but for the price you may as well just go full sized. Of course not everyone wants something so large. The funny thing is if you park this next to a mid mid 90s F-150 (for example) it's about the same size. These new mid-sized trucks can also tow just about as much as some of the older full sized 1/2 ton trucks out there. Overall it's really nice but vehicle prices are getting absolutely ridiculous. Prices never really came back down after the 2019-2022 pandemic mess that jacked up prices. There was never a shortage as bad as a lot of media and dealerships seemed to claim. Used vehicles are WAY too expensive as well. My current vehicle sells for maybe $2-4k cheaper used with 30k miles or less than it does new. That's just silly. Dealerships and car manufacturers have taken advantage of this situation.

Thanks for the honest review, but NO. Like other GM vehicles, these trucks suffer from cheap GM build quality. The interiors plastics feel like they were made from milk jugs.

No point? Fuel mileage is better (although minimal), overall price is lower and more reasonable, fits in more places/parking spots, better for offroading.... all with full size amenities and payload. I had a Raptor and I am so excited for my canyon to arrive. I would have 1.5" on each side of my truck between the wheels and parking space lines and it got old real quick.
