I just want to say thank you man 🙏 I've suffered with bad lower back pain for well over 5yrs now. My Doctor won't send me for an MRI scan, for what ever reason, even though it's been going on for years now 🤦 Anyway, I tried the hanging motion you demonstrated and tucked my lower lumbar area forward as you stated. Hung there for as long as I could. When I got off, It was like my back pain had disappeared 🤯 Mind blown. I woke today and it had returned a little bit, but I've at least figured out a way to lessen the pain, all thanks to you man. I can't thank you enough 🙏 I will keep practising this and hopefully it fixes the issue I've had for the past 5yrs. Great video also BTW, you the man 😎🫶

Awesome. I am in 70's. Just started doing pullups, chinups, pushups and planks, deep squats, and more. I have a 14' fiberglass ladder leaning against my roof to do my pullups on. I started watching this and went out and tried the grip you had and decided I needed to do it when I was fresh. lol

For over 40 years between gymnastics, parallel bars, rings, to the U.S. Marine Corps, I have been preaching the benefits of hanging to not only support the body weight, but also to build endurance supporting the body weight, particularly for the future purpose of doing 20-30-40 pullups... it takes at least a couple of minutes to accomplish; and my favorite... strengthen hand grips. Calibrated at 195+ lbs of hand strength at 55 and an arnis practitioner, your advices are SPOT ON...! 👍🏻 BTW: I just bought a pair of your Vivobarefoot Decon FG2 as a minimalist runner I look forward to walking around town without looking like a dork 😂

I can’t explain it, but after watching you, I am always inspired, but also relaxed. Amazing style! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and challenges. The way you explained how the callous pinching how wrapping makes it harder. Yeah i needed this. I need to strengthen my hands without stiffening them or i wont be able to play bach so good. @FranciscoNogueira4 ай бұрын
Yep... For over 3 months I had my right shoulder hurting quite a lot to the point I couldn't do some basic stuff and from another channel I started trying hanging. In a week it started hurting less and less and now, just today, for the first time in 3 months it doesn't hurt anymore. I can still find the pain if I want to but, for the most part, it's back in business. My KZbin feed got me to this channel and I confess... Loved the rithm of it. It's quite refreshing watching someone taking his time to get the message through. In an era whete every youtuber speaks like they ate on cocain, this, on the other hand, feels like a balsam. Kudos.

That was over 10 years ago and now as an older lifter I do them for sets of 6 but don’t worry about progressing too much. Not sure if you have similar reasoning.
