As an actual business owner, it's a complete lie. It's just sad because some of these girls work so hard, they could be using that energy for actual success. I wish I could hire some of these women just for the sheer amount of hard work they put in. Just saddens me because it's most likely for nothing.

What about their own children? We've seen before how the kids of MLM huns don't get their full attention because their parents are literally glued to their screen trying to get new recruits and, sadly, are usually the ones who get the brunt of their parent's frustrations. I don't remember where, but I remember seeing this one video of a hun trying to record a video with their children crying for them in the background and instead of comforting the child, she yelled at them to shut up because she was working. Another was in an MLM group zoom call, where a hun was listening and their kid was trying to get her attention and she kept pushing them away, seemed like she scolded them, and when the kid continued she looked so angry as she turned off the camera and muted. When she turned it back up, the kid was nowhere in sight.

@@katzcat8181 To add to that, Deanna Mims read a horror story from the child of a high ranking MLM mom. They detail how distant she was even when she was physically there, listening to her shouting at her downlines in the other room for hours while locking them out, taking her frustrations out on them, posing for film crews in rented mansions and rented cars that weren't even big enough for the family, having to act out wholesome family activities for the camera that they never did in real life and being very confused by the whole spectacle. The entire thing just seems so sad and unnecessary. A child would be perfectly happy to rely on their mom being home every day at 4 o'clock. Eating dinner together, getting a bath, reading a bedtime story together. There's nothing wrong with that at all

The lady crying about not having to work on sunny days turned my stomach. I understand wanting to be there for family events, but all I heard was "I used to be a terrible parent because I had to work but now I'm a good mom because I can be at his games". It's not like she was making promises and not following through. She had a job with an atypical, but predictable, schedule. My father was in heavy construction and also had an atypical schedule. Depending on the current job he might be working a graveyard or split-shift, working overnight on the weekend, living away from home Monday through Thursday, or in another state for 3-6 months. When he could attend things, he attended them, when he couldn't, we understood why, and we did our best to schedule things we could control to work with his schedule. The implication he was a bad parent because (for example) he missed my 13th birthday because he was working in another state at the time is insulting.

If you watch enough of these huns going live, you will see plenty of them saying "Not now, Mommy's working." or, "come get this kid, I'm going live." I saw one where a little boy went to his mother crying because he found his goldfish dead. She eventually went to deal with it and later resumed her call, laughing about flushing Goldy down the toilet. I was thinking, "B****! You'd be a better mother if you worked at Subway! I honestly think she's crying but for the wrong reasons- it may be her realizing she actually misses her old work because being a rep in the highest position is definitely not all fun and sunshine as they like to paint it, if reps are nasty to their downlines, they are awful to each other, but I think she's too brainwashed to notice what she actually misses and it has become so natural to her to turn her pain into a pitch. I was thinking similar lines. If she is that booked, she has every power to choose her own shoot dates. Dietitian here 🙋🏼‍♀️ those shakes are not enough to be used as meal replacements. I never recommend shakes as replacements unless I have a patient who has been losing weight related to things like skipping meals or early satiety BECAUSE they don’t make you feel full and satisfied. It is also important to consider gastric emptying rate - how fast your stomach releases food into your intestines. Liquids go very fast which does not help you feel full. Also, your stomach tells your brain you’re full when it gets stretched. If you are having a shake, that’s not going to stretch your stomach much. Unless you have like 64 oz or something ridiculous lol at that point, eat a meal! I should submit a horror story because, unfortunately, working in a hospital has exposed me to all sorts of MLM products like this. I had a patient dying of covid want to use juice plus supplements instead of the IV meds and vitamins/minerals specifically formulated for their body. It’s insane!! Thank you for all you do!! Precisely. I drink Ensure as a way to make sure I'm getting enough BECAUSE I don't eat enough. I'm already underweight, but I get full very quickly and feel full for long periods of time. Drinking shakes and things don't make me feel full for that long, so I can still eat when I eventually do feel hungry. Shakes and drinks like Ensure are made to be supplements, not replacements. There are not enough calories to make sure you're getting enough nutrition.

As someone in the tech industry allow me to explain how she could have gotten the phone number: 1. Actually obtaining the phone number is pretty easy through Facebook. Someone people have their phone number accessible through their contact details. Others have messages and calls from Facebook directly forwarded to their number. There are also countless places where one could do a reverse username search and find it. 2. Figuring out who clicked the link is a lot more difficult. Currently Facebook does not have analytics for who specifically clicked on a link. Now if you react to a post they could figure you out that way. The other way is if they are using a trackable link with hidden input fields. These fields could grab things like your username, IP address, etc and give that information back to the person who wanted your info. This is honestly a decently complex thing and not something Google forms offers. So, if the mlm Huns are using it, they are evolving. Overall, yes it is possible. Yes it is extremely unethical. And yes it is complex.

Sooo.... she outed herself that it wasn't actually the MLM that provided her that opportunity. And I would argue that she probably could have achieved that even if she weren't involved with MLM.

As a former photographer for 20+ years, I felt what that one girl was saying. I missed out on a lot of playground days and nice weekends with my boys. BUT as a former YL silver, it's no comparison to the amount of time I spent ignoring my kids for a "business call" or being glued to my phone refreshing my app to see if my ogv was going up, or literally obsessed with "networking" on Facebook and trying to recruit. That was worse.

It took me so long to realize medicine. he best thing for her. She was seven and it was the first time I had ever had a conversation with her that she initiated. MLM's are another way for rich people to make money on the insecurities of women trying to do it all the best possible way for themselves for their families.

As a mom, the crying one is really heartbreaking. On this, the day after "Mother's Day" in the US, we are reminded of how our capitalism and materialism has affected parents, especially mothers. We offer no health care, no paid parental leave, we do not value mental health nor are we kind to people who struggle. This is what makes many people, especially women, so vulnerable to MLMs. That's my opinion. It is so sad.

And as someone who has been anti-MLM, I had to unfollow them all. It was all they started to post about and they were concentrating on recruiting. It was sad to see because they were all talented. But professional photography has had a massive undercutting with the advancement and accessibility of technology that everyday people can have. It was becoming harder to make an income for many.

I just got an MLM ad on this video lol.... It's so creepy. Basically just a group of 5 middle aged women walk towards the camera and explain how being rude and spamming people doesn't work and that they know how to actually get people to join your down line and make good money, just click the link to do so. They would switch who was in the center every few seconds and just kept walking at the camera with creepy fake smiles Their shirts said Beach boss

I love that the photographer that says it’s all possible because of Monat but then at the end of her video explains that she still shoots and loves shooting but now she’s taken it indoors. If she wanted to enjoy the sunshine and shoot all year round couldn’t she have just cut out Monat and just offered indoor photography anyway? Surely that would have provided her way more flexibility with her work hours and a much better income than with Monat. I’m not seeing any logic here but that’s what happens when you’re sucked into an MLM, it’s so cult like and everything good in life is suddenly all because of them.

I can’t believe the Herbalife woman has been selling for 10 years! That’s a very long time. If she realizes she has sold stuff for a crappy mlm for ten years then I imagine she would be defensive. I would be so upset if I wasted 10 years with Herbalife. Denial makes you feel much better about the situation.

My favorite line was from MK "Well we aren't a MLM bc those are illegal." 😂

I can confirm that when I was in my mlm I was told to check my stories every day for new people watching to message them. It was so weird.

Omg. I just realized I've been glued to your channel for about 4 hours now. Not easy to do ( I get distracted pretty easily lol). Keep up the work you do because there are countless people STILL joining MLMs. I don't understand how people are still joining when there is an overabundance of evidence proving how horrible they are. Anyway, thank you!
