Lemme weigh in on the frequency thing as a chemist! So she's right in that everything does have a frequency but...we only see those frequencies when radiation passes through an object. Basically every molecule has their electrons in what's called the "relaxed state". Putting radiation (i.e. infrared, microwave, UV) in causes the molecule to vibrate more and the electrons to go up into the "excited state". We can then read the frequency output as the electrons move down from the excited state to the relaxed state, giving off energy. We're not constantly giving off energy like that and even if we were...adding oil wouldn't change that in the slightest.
@vb88012 жыл бұрын
Thank you for this explanation! It seems like people who sell supposed frequency products have confused excited electrons with excited as an emotion lol

I just realized it may be more helpful for anti-MLM influencers to use that phrasing a lot more frequently: "99% of reps don't make an income off of this." Because I saw the stats that 1% or 0.5% will get checks big enough that you could call it an income (but that's assuming they spent significantly less than that on product), and my brain was like "so if you luck into the 1%... wait no, that's the point, you're NOT the 1% and will never be... unlesss..." and that's part of the hook. "99% will not make money" if someone told me an investment opportunity had a 99% chance of not paying out, I would pass. Considering you're expected to pay money to get into the company, you can rightly consider it an investment.

I've studied and used essential oils on and off for thirty years and the damage these lunatics are doing to their reputation makes me hang my head and weep. Look on Pubmed. There are many papers published in reputable journals that show these oils can and do have positive effects. Like actual medical effects. However. The research is limited (you can't patent an essential oil, so who in their right mind is going to pay out millions to research one deeply?). Findings are specific and for individual, or handful of oils. I don't ever remember one for ingestion, and I was always taught that the oils were not to be ingested. The oils need to be used carefully and in measured amounts. They require detoxification from the system so care should be taken not to overload someone. There are people that should not be using oils at all. Anything that has a clinical effect can have side effects so of course essential oils come with side effects. These idiots break specific rules of using essential oils all the time. No knowledgeable person would use undiluted lavender oil on a skin condition, that's cretinous. Such a great little resource for us, and these barmpots are ruining it for everyone.

Regarding the CPA, I say “Mazel too”! I’m just thrilled that no innocent people will have their taxes done by someone who thinks Arbonne’s - or any other MLM’s - comp plan is “genius”. No one deserves that.

Nurse here. The best way to prevent scarring is to 1. Have a good surgeon or ER doc stitch you up. A lot of people get wounds that need stitches and they try and handle it at home. 2. Avoid direct sunlight during the healing process 3. Most importantly, avoid infection! Keep it clean and use antibiotic ointment.

Hi Hanna! Just wanted to say how much I love-love your videos. I came here through a video about influencers lying a week ago and now I am stuck here to watch almost your entire channel! I admire how eloquently, consequently and logically you present the information. Overall, I wish the KZbin had more content from people like you, down-to-earth, truthful, real. I am also tired from “influencers”, “coaches”, “spiritual tutors”, “lucky girls” from everywhere who sell people a dream in a bubble gum.

I used to be in an MLM for almost a year and spent over $6000 to buy my own stock that I could barely sell. Once I started running out of that inheritance money, I noticed that I stopped qualifying for things, and I eventually couldn’t get the discount anymore because I wasn’t buying Enough stock. It’s also a cult. I went to all the meetings and events and they always said the same phrase EVERYTIME! “Anyone can own their own (MLM name) business. But the only reason why some may fail is because they don’t put the effort in” Well I put the effort in, but no one wanted to buy, no one wanted to join and all that happened is I lost thousands of dollars that I should’ve invested and had a shit ton of stock that I couldn’t sell. The only positive aspect of it was that I used my unsold stock as a tax write off. And then I continued to do that for three years 😂

Both “health and wellness based” I so badly wished I would’ve come across content like this first before having to learn from experience. I feel the frustration. I’m in user experience, and a nice chunk of my job is proving to the other departments of the company that we’re actually necessary. The difference is that 1) I have a salary and 2) we’re not scamming anyone. We’re providing valuable work to help our users use our products more effectively. 💁♀️

I love how the Arbonne girl is begging people to buy from her when she's sitting there with a big ol diamond ring and nails that look like they were just done. She looks like she could just afford to pay for her own trip with 'Alec' to Cancun 💁♀️. Also I found it interesting she said she wanted to have him experience the community...I wonder if he has expressed doubts about what she's doing and she wants this trip so badly so she can show him it's "legit". This reminds me of time sharing in hotels. People telling me, the receptionist, that the apartment was theirs and me thinking "no! You own the right to spend one week here, but not the walls or floors of this apartment! You own nothing!" They really liked to feel like they were the owners, even thought they had no control on anything about said property.

The reel about the hair oil - the other thing to consider is that wounds (like those ones - scratches and bruises, small cuts) heal anyway on their own. This is a common scam - claiming a product or procedure healed something that would have healed anyway, with or without it

24:00 oils like coconut oil on wounds mainly help because they keep the area moisturized which helps reducing scaring and speed up healing. Vasiline would do more good than whatever she was selling.

The last one irritates me. As you said…It’s your wedding day. You’re in a totally different world and work was literally the last thing on my mind that day. I got married in 2019 and the day was probably the most hectic day of my life. I barely ate or drank anything that day never mind trying to get on a zoom call. If joining an MLM is about time freedom and making your own schedule shouldn’t you be able to take a day (or even 10 like I did) to enjoy your special day without feeling guilty? My work was more than happy to let me take the time off I needed to enjoy my wedding and honeymoon

To that first lady...don't worry, I won't compare your MLM to a pyramid scheme. That would be an insult to pyramid schemes :P After all, the FTC says you're more likely to make money in a legit non-product pyramid scheme or gambling at vegas than you are in an MLM :P
