I found Kiki Chanel’s videos and yours at the perfect time, I was approached by an MLM boss babe and I had no idea what it was… I was almost ready to join bc I needed an income I could do from home bc of recent medical issues. THANK GOODNESS I found y’all’s content bc girl…. I watched a few of these anti MLM videos and instantly told my “good friend” it was a scam and I wasn’t about to join and she should get out too. Then came the texts and msgs from her upline trying to convince me. I blocked em all on everything wrote a sassy firm “hell no” email to them all and kept my money. And sanity. So thank you for saving me from making the worst decision ever. Especially w my current medical issues, I’d be in an even more difficult situation than I am now!!

Why I LOVE your anti-mlm videos: 1. you focus just as much on your commentary as you do the content you show. 2. You absolutely tell it like it is every single time, no fear, no feelings spared for those trying to scam people out of their hard earned money. 3. You break everything down into points, organize your ideas into a structure that gets your message across in the most clear way possible, and simplify complex or misleading language so that everyone can understand. 4. You're kind. You're caring. You're sincere. You're engaging. You work hard on what you do and it shows. Thank you for making this videos because you are a fantastic orator. I'm so glad I found your channel.

First of all I really appreciate how respectful your are of the Huns in these videos. I totally agree, the problem is what they are saying and the company that they ‘work for’ not the vast majority of the Huns themselves. Yes there are some Huns that know exactly what they are doing and couldn’t care less that the ppl below them are loosing money. But the majority are just ordinary ppl that got tricked into the pyramid scheme and are being brainwashed by the cult.

My youngest brother had a small ceremony cuz of covid then a postponed reception just recently... if I can share something personal cuz, idk, I need to talk about it I guess... but my oldest brother (not older than me just oldest of my 2 brothers) was his best man in the small ceremony, but then killed himself before the reception. One of the things he had listed as a reason to stay was to be in my youngest brother's re-enaction of their ceremony at the reception. Since he wasn't there, my sister, a bridesmaid, walked down the aisle with a picture of him, then put the picture on the chair that was in the place he would've been in. It was so sad, I cried, my sister was so strong and didn't cry as she walked down the aisle with his picture. I can't believe how sad everything family related is, now. I can't believe he's gone. I'm sorry to spill my guts here I just never get to talk about it cuz I've had 2 babies in the past 19 months so I'm always way too busy to think about it let alone talk about it. He killed himself dec. 15th 2020, the week before I was going to announce my 2nd pregnancy. he never met my oldest baby, either, cuz things just kept coming up. I can't believe my babies will never know him, he won't just be a memory he won't even be known at all as a person... it blows my mind. I wish this weren't real. Thanks for reading, typing it all up helped me process it a little more. I don't wish this feeling on anyone.

@@HannahAlonzo thanks Hannah, it means a lot. The 1 year anniversary is coming up and idk how I'm gonna deal with it, I genuinely dunno how it'll hit me that day. I remember when it happened I was just starting a walk with my little boy when my mom called me, saying she didn't know how to tell me something, and if I was sitting down, and I asked her if my cat was dead since she was watching my cat for me.. and she said, "no it's your brother" and my heart sunk. I asked what she meant, what was happening. When she told me, I was crying and said no, mom.. no. You're kidding. This isn't really happening. I can't breathe. I don't know what to do... I had to call my bf and try to get out what happened and I had to take an uber to my brother's house where we all stood outside for hours while the police and everyone processed the scene. I can't believe that was real.. I can't believe this really happened. It's so hard to explain how surreal it feels. Thank you for reading, it helps me to talk about it to anyone at all. I had no idea, Hannah. No warning. He never acted like he was having a hard time. I knew he had trouble finding a purpose but that's it. I think that he regretted it in his last moments, I don't think he really wanted to go. Ugh. Is do anything to see him again. One more time. To say goodbye

Something I was just thinking of was that if these people want someone to hand them a blueprint for a company and to be a "business owner", they could just become a franchisee. I recently watched a video about Piggly Wiggly (popular grocery store chain here in the south-east U.S., though there's a few stores up north) and so the franchised store doesn't have to be a restaurant, like McDonald's. But either way, you're providing a legitimate product to customers and doing more of a service to the community than headhunting and badgering people to join an MLM. The company will give a blueprint of how the business should be run, so you have the steps for success provided. Instead of a downline, you have genuine employees whom you can pay a base wage, so they feel comfortable knowing they'll be making the same amount each day of work. But I know a lot of these women would say this is too hard (yet gaslight their downline for "not working hard enough" 🙄). Because yes, it's not easy. Running a REAL business is not simple. But when you work your ass off and see your success and it's not built upon the backs of people who are mostly doing the hard work while you do nothing but recruit more...you'll have something you can truly be proud of. And if you're a manager that thinks you can do the same with your employees (doing nothing while they work), that lowers morale and you sour good employees who begin to respect you less, which in turn hurts the business. Huge kudos to the owners and managers who don't hide in their office all day and actually lead their teams and companies, it means a lot to us employees.
@ABeautfulMess Жыл бұрын
Fluffy, I agree. I just couldn't continue to gaslight or flat out lie to people to make myself rich..I realize that mostly the higher ups knowingly bs people but I think you're right invest in a franchise.. Chick-fil-A even helps you financially and gives a great deal of support. 💗

A friend of mine kept pushing me to join MK and I kept telling her no and never ordered anything at all and after a year she finally was so desperate she offered to pay the fee or whatever to join and said I could pay her back with my “ new business and many sales she knew I’d make”. I told her absolutely not I don’t mix money and friends. In the beginning before that I had my son prematurely and he only lived 15days and I almost died having him and then after the funeral (about a week) she said I deserved a make over and to be pampered ( I didn’t know she had joined MK) and to come over and she’d pamper me. I hadn’t been out of bed but thought ok I do need to get out of bed. I went to her house and there was another strange car but I didn’t think much out of it and I went in and there was another lady there dressed up. She finally admitted it was her “life mentor” and she was going to help with the makeover and I saw it was MK. I wanted to leave but it was too late. Then her “mentor” sat there and said she knew how I felt cause she buried her husband 3yrs before and what got her back to life and living was “her friends and mentors and sisters at MK and if I just joined her she could help introduce me to those that helped get her life back” I left right then and there half of a face of makeup and didn’t let them finish, I had just buried my first child and was deep in my grief and this sent me even further into it because I thought my friend truly cared and loved me but it was all in the name of money and sales. I was even more devastated and never spoke to her again even though she tried to contact me many times. Finally another friend who also knew her and sold MK messaged her and told her how inappropriate that was and she should have never ever used my son’s death as a pathway to making money and recruiting me. That friend is the least pushy person and never contacts you about MK she has just said if you ever want to try it or order let me know but I’m not the rep that pushes people and she felt so bad about what other friend did she gave me several new fullnproducts she had to try and told me not to feel like I had to buy them they were truly just to make me feel like normal functioning human. She gave me some lotions and face cream and some mascara I really had been wanting to try. I never ordered them but I can say there is one good rep out there but my heart still hurts 18yrs later at what my former friend did and how she tried to take advantage of the situation

Wait. She's promoting products for post-partum hair loss?? Post-partum shedding is what happens when your hormones after giving birth go back to normal. When you're pregnant, the normal shedding that your hair does naturally just STOPS. And then after you give birth, basically all the hair you *would've* lost slowly over months and months all comes out within day/weeks until your hair goes back to its normal state. This is totally normal.

the whole thing about "if it's always on sale it's not a luxury brand it's a discount brand" makes me think of Old Navy tbh. Old Navy isn't out here branding themselves as high fashion, designer clothing or anything but the prices make me sick considering how cheap the quality is. I still shop there for the size diversity, and honestly... the sales. There's always a sale on something it seems, and the clearance section at my store is always full of stuff! So why is it so expensive in the first place if you're just running sales and promotions constantly? It really shows how gross the markup is and how the products really don't need to be that expensive in the first place. This isn't just an Old Navy issue, but it's so apparent there. I'm not buying a dress with threads sticking out of the seams for $45 lmao

The pricing is laughable! Do they realize that women who want thicker, fast growing hair (not that I believe these products really help for that) can go to a salon and get hair extensions for the same price (or less) that this junk cost and the extensions give results instantly? Why would anyone pay such foolish prices on products that may not work at all? What has been proven to help grow hair is Vitamin E, and if you are taking prenatal vitamins, your hair will grow like crazy. The prenatal vitamins cost less than $20.00 per month and you don't have to be pregnant to take them!

Okay so genuine question here... bc I'm am not white. I've always wondered why white women put oil on their hair but then have to wash it multiple times a week so it's not oily. ?? 🥴 As a black woman many of us "oil our scalps" bc our hair has a tendency to be more dry and coarse. This question isn't to throw shade but to gain understanding. Thanks✌🏽
@HannahAlonzo3 жыл бұрын
Honestly, an amazing question! I personally use argan oil only on the ends of my hair for shine as to not make my scalp extra oily. But I know the whole idea of “scalp treatments” or “massaging oil into your scalp” is really popular right now because people think it may promote blood circulation and hair growth. My impression is that for white women, maybe it’s less of a hydration thing and more of a hair growth thing? I have pretty oily hair to begin with so I don’t use oil on my scalp, but that’s my best guess as to why some women do it! ❤️

@stephaniethesoprano8 ай бұрын
this comment is old but I thought I'd chime in! Hannah talked about the scalp thing for hair growth and that's why I do it! I do live in a very dry climate so dry skin is an issue I'm constantly battling, including my scalp so it helps with that too. I also have white girl curly hair so I notice that it can absorb excess oil better than someone who has straight hair. My issue is that I have really fine hair so the curls weigh down really easily and go flat, so I have to be careful with oil so my hair doesn't look really messy and misshapen lol

Yes I absolutely love my products Nd I stand behind them 100% but I don't push my products I don't chase the money because "do onto others as you want done onto urself" I hate when people try to push a product onto me try to get me to have a party I can't stand that so I don't do it to anyone. Word of mouth is a wonderful thing I see it this way i sell I sell I did I don't. Either way I kadlve a great discount I have all the products I love and I get to make lasting memories with my family and friends. If I make buck or 2 cool if not cool. I love ur content I stumbled Onto ur page and I am Benge watching eating Cheetos and selling Tupperware lol. Jk the last 2 was just to get a laugh. Anyway I just felt the need to share my story and why I do what I do.
