I'm dutch and I'm a true dwarfie for over 20 years now.. I startet to watch this just because Robert starred in it but I have to admit that seeing our Hans making Robert laugh this much gives me a good feeling. Robert always ruled for me but now Hans turned into one of my favourites also.... Lesson: How to get foreigners to help you appreciate your own people :p

Well, it's an Amsterdam attraction, Dutch people are generally very local focused, even though the country is 300 km (190 miles) long and 200 km (127 miles) wide. I've never been to the Anne Frank house myself and I'm from Eindhoven, only about 100km (60 miles) from Amsterdam. In the Netherlands we get enough history lessons about the Second World War and the story of Anne Frank in our education from very young age, we all know her story. But a lot of other things happened in the Netherlands (and the rest of Europe) during WWII, so the urge to go to the Anne Frank house is not as high for Dutch people. The Anne Frank house is an exploitation of the tragedy of Anne Frank's life in the Second World War is what I think of it.

I never understood why the English did the 'sh' when doing a dutch accent.We say a lot of things wrong, but I've never heard a Dutchman pronounce the s like that. Glad to see that Hans Teeuwen clearified that.

God, that was hilarious. As a longtime fan it's nice to see Hans off stage relaxed, himself but still joking about everything and nothing. Excellent 28 minutes of fun. Sadly out of sync but open a second window, mute one so you have a vid-vid and a sound-vid and then calibrate the sound with the image.

The Dutch brought this word all over the world, but in South Africa the Dutch actively spread the language, and the "apartheid" policy wasn't a policy in the colonies of the Dutch themselves, so it sort of grew as an Afrikaans word. Afrikaans is a Dutch word as well. The language Afrikaans is broken, simplified Dutch. most of the Afrikaners would understand me when I speak Dutch, same with Afrikaners speaking Afrikaans.
