❤ I'm in my 60s, and you got me on the first note and play on the radio. I was already driving in my car. On the street where the music store was on. I instantly drove into the parking lotof the music store. Ran into the store to buy the mmbop CD. Before the song ended. Left the radio blasting. I must have played this song a million times over. It was so upbeat. Who couldn't love it? It was like bubblegum music to my ears. Pure joy! Thank you for the joy.

I remember being a kid in the 90s there was a time when everyone thought this song and Hanson were gay as hell. It wasn't cool at all if you liked them. Back then gay was openly used as a pejorative. Really glad to see everyone grew up and now appreciates these guys. So much talent and thoughtfulness to write a song with lyrics like these as mere children
