"The power of boners brings him out of his coma" - hahahahaha, damn this is comedy gold! Too bad LeBrock wasn't able to bring the audience out of Seagal's acting-induced coma!!!

@@RedEyeReviews that quote and Kelly LeBrock kicking off her shoes during the love scene are the most memorable things for me about this movie. You can't believe that they're a married man and wife during that scene. Seagal grabs at her womanly attributes then plays dead and LeBrock moans and coos in ectasy, especially after she's barefoot. Watching it again and again feels voyeuristic, not erotic. The cheesy, sleezy 1980s saxophone music is the icing on the cake.

Man this one is nostalgic, this here is the very first Steven Seagal film I ever seen. Him in all his prime, ponytail glory. This film was actually greatly reviewed in 1990 by many critics. Even referred to as the "Norris/Brosnan of the 90's". Fun fact about this film it made cenima history at the time for the largest weekend opening for the month of February.

You didnt highlight the funniest scene in the film: Mason realizes that the politician on the TV is the same one that set him up because of his slogan "And you can take that to the bank". In the most over dramatic scene ever, he looks towards the tv (Which is now hilariously turned off) and says "I'm gonna take YOU to the bank, Senator Trent.... TO THE BLOOD BANK" and it is literally followed by a DUN-DUN-DUN sting!

Also, it has one of my fav badass Seagal quotes ever, " That's for my wife, Fuck you and Die!" It being the climax and his ultimate revenge, including the other guy he fought on the street, in the movie. It's hard not to feel the intensity in it. Notice how William Sadler is credited as "Bill Sadler." Ever see 'Freaked'? 0:36 Depending on who you ask, 1990 was the last year of the '80s rather than the first year of the '90s. On the Gregorian calendar, since it starts with year 1, decades go from 1 to 10 rather than 0 to 9. Dana Scully brings that up in an episode of 'The X-Files' and Mulder replies, "No one likes a wise-ass." XD Or was it "smart-ass?" Now I need to re-watch that episode just to be sure I'm quoting it accurately-go-nuts. 0:52 The late but still great David Gale also spun the wrong way in 'Re-Animator' when Jeffrey Combs hits him in the head with a shovel from behind. But to be fair, he was facing the other way, so he to play it be ear (or rather, by feel). 3:27 In the left, out the right. "Do you expect me to believe that you don't know your left from your right?!" Sorry, I had to. Any excuse to insert Ermey quotes. 7:03 Meme material right there. 8:15 / 8:18 Why does he switch from a sawed-off to a pistol? Sure, the sawed-off only had one shot left, but it's way meaner as an execution weapon.

Stay with me on this...what if Seagal is part of the longest continuing method acting sequence in the history of film? Every movie after this is a slow descent into the madness and side effects of being in a long-term coma? Side note: I did a spit take at 4:47

It's all in the title. This film is about Seagal's stomach, hence "Hard to Fill."

Back then Steven Seagal's movies were named: Hard to kill whereas today they should reference movie theater seating and be called: Hard to fill.

Ford Scorpio? You must be Canadian or something. They never called it that in the US. It was a Taurus.

Hey, Seagal makes a new movie every month for 15 years, just to pay off the mob. That's some work ethic!
