people who think this doesn't look like a hardflip, it's because the board is only rotating 90degrees during the hardflip and his body is rotating 90degrees the opposite way in order to land i the tail slide. it's the same motion as if you was going to do a hardflip late 180.

It's basically the same flip as a kickflip nose slide while rotating your body the other direction 90 degrees. Imo, a hardflip back tail would be easier than a kickflip back tail because the the nose of the board basically flips into the ledge. It would take more effort getting the back end all the way up with a kickflip.
