I own this case since 2012 and managed to build a 360 45mm radiator on top, but it depends on your motherboard. Can't get rid of this case, it is still amazing.

Bought one years ago, still using it, love it, the handle idea at the top is genius, not that it gets moved much, but I love intelligent designs like this. I'm looking to buy another for a second computer as I begin to retire my flawless xeon 1650 and I wont sell her after 10 years of perfect service.

LOL same here have had my almost 6 years. .and have upgraded sys's through the years.. today I am putting in Gigabyte X570s Aorus Elite AX and Ryzen 7 5800X3D.. PowerColor Red Devil AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX 64gbs Gskill Trident Z Royal 3600 DDR4, and OS on a XPG S70 Blade 1tb (7400mbs) M2 also have had my BFG 1000watt PSU as long as I have had this case... LOVE THEM ALL!! 5 HDD's 1 SSD and 3 M2's and 2 Plextor DVD RWs

I'm still using my HAF X 😁 got a 8700k and strix 1080 Ti in it still has amazing airflow but its seen better days probably going to change the case with my next build

@@HollowRick it’s an amazing case and pretty easy to work with, but it had started to age with modern standards, ex, no usb-c ports, exposed psu, plastic panned and the front air filters prone to fall out

I recently got my hands on one of these in black! Striped it down to pieces, cleaned it, painted it red leaving pieces that were still pristine black. I love this thing. Takes me back to the good old days. Bought a gpu mod with riser to rotate the gpu on its side to use all that extra space. Zip tied 3 90mm fans in the hhd bay for front air intake. 2x 240mm fans on the bottom and top of the case just roaring air in and out. Just a kid in a candy store using all these older items i have been holding onto. I even found an old cooler master v6 gt muscle cooler.. "Had to buy a mounting mod bracket" its am3 cooler the modded bracket allowed me to mount it to an am4 socket. Looks like a car engine for a cooler. All case fans are led set to red and the black interior just makes the red pop! A few led strips set to red and.. Its just glorious! I had a Radeon rx 580 msi installed in it cause it had red leds on a gpu hence the gpu mod... But it was a craigslist sale and it failed after a few months..😢 now its rockin the rx 590 with no leds but the asrock version is just a monster in size and is the center piece even without the leds!

JUST A HEADS UP,all you have to do is reverse your cages so the fans,are facing the front then you'll have the push and pull effect,and pop a 120 in the bottom where the ssd would sit

Got this on sale a while back and I don't regret it. Easy to work with, good thermals even stock and good cable management. I'm not sure I'd pull the trigger on it today but it was pretty good for when it came out.

The storm trooper has a window that can be bought separately. It is now hard to find in the states but if your really want it can be found on the U.K. sites. I bought mine from the Ukraine before it was released in the U.S.

Put the front fans facing front in factory and change the handle so you can fit thick rads to the top fans. That would make it one of the best cases out there if you want that industrial/alien look...

Got this case for about a month now and I really like it, the handle at the top is pretty useful because my system is kind of heavy in it, there is a lot of space for cable management, easily fit some nice looking extensions in the back, and the hard drive cages are awesome too, I switched them so I got the fans in the front. Nice to see the small storage box at the bottom as well, very nice for storing some useful tools for working with computers. I think this is a great case for this price.

What you can also do since it is not on the CM website is you can call them directly. Since they are still selling the windowed trooper case. I'm sure they will be able to sell you just the window.

you will be fine, I have both and the h100i fits fine. The radiator is 27mm and the fans are 25mm making it 52mm and there is 60mm of clearance between the mounting bracket and motherboard standoffs. Hope this helps.

Had to revisit this video. Modern hardware works fine, unless you're talking about the GPUs. A few of them will end up touching the edges of the HDD cages.

i got this case and if you instal a fan at the bottom then the airflow is perfect . no need to worry about good airflow. ( but i do reccomend to add a fan @ the bottom ).

That's oxidization. If its on a steel frame, gloss coated, it won't yellow. But the un glossed parts will. The plastic should be fine, but it might eventually change.

IMO the best version of the Trooper case is not the Stryker but the Trooper windowed which is essentially the Stryker in black.

Coolermaster just makes the best cases out there... Been a loyal fan ever since the haf x, in running a cheaper aerocool 300faw due to budget limitations but would still pick up a coolermaster case in a heart beat if i could afford it.

I have this case, its great. Wish it supported a single 360mm rad up top and just turned the top two 5,25" external bays to the small 2.5" or just remove them totally and allow for a 480mm rad. 9 is quite ample so removing one or two to allow a bigger radiator wouldnt have been a bad idea lol. But for sure i recommend this case. It is really big and kind heavy by itself but the handles are strong and it is still portable.

Iv owned this case for a little over three months now and I can't keep my eyes off it! Its such a Beauty. Plenty of room for all my components which keeps everything running cool and looking neat! I must of got a newer version of the Stryker cause I don't notice the two tone color between the metal and plastic. Cooler Master must of fixed it:)

This either way. It is cheaper than the corsair graphite 600T. But I agree, match the case to the build. Mid range build, probably around a $100 case. Low end probably 60 or cheaper. And high end, anything.

Looks awsome, but at 3:00 it looks like the rear bottom part around PS exhaust has been bent. How good is the structural integrity of the case ??? And don´´t reply ,,it´s just tin´´, for this price, it should be real solid.

It is a s good as it gets man. Real heavy, solid (build) quality. It means the case as big as it is weighs a lot too ofcourse. It is not easy to brake anything on this case. This case blindy reassures I won't even come close to breaking anything on it. I've had it for almost 5,5 years (black). by the time you read this you might have actually already ordered the case, so yeah.Must have been a real package droppin' talent that dropped the pakkage so hard it actually bent something on the case. I'm using the Asus Z87 sabertooth which still leaves a fair amount of clearance so you should be fine with the z87 pro as long as the motherboard doesn't stick out too much past the top screw holes which the z87 pro doesn't.

i got one of these and i can't see any real difference between the plastic and the steel, the only design problem iv'e found is that you have to screw in the bottom fans THRU the dust filter so it makes it hard to remove filter to clean. still super recommended tho , so much sexiness.

I got this case, its a great case indeed. but cleaning the dustfilters need to be done regulary, and clean inside too now and then. I wish i had even more cable management space, because of all drives. Im still trying to figure out which case fan setup to use as my GPU really heats up the case, right now im using "BitFenix Spectre Pro LED" fans on all slots in the case, and those fans have a hard time cooling the case. I could get better fans, but i expected them to do a better job in this case. The stock fans could be a better solution. im not sure about blaming the case or the fans or just my setup. Thats the only negative i find... so, its a 9/10 for me. go go!

I bought this Case at Micro Center when it was on sale and its an awesome case,There's tons of places to install more Fans and the big fan on top i removed to put a EK-Kit P280 Premium Water Cooler and there's plenty of room for graphics cards,I put 2 Gigabyte GTX 980's and they are LONG cards with 3 Fans across it,Only thing i do not like about this case is when your done and have all your parts inside it is a very heavy case,Atleast 60-75 pounds but i did use a big water cooling system inside so if you used a 120-240mm it might not be so heavy but using a 120 isnt a good idea if you can afford a 280mm water cooling system you should get 1 cause i had a 120mm H75 from Corsair inside when i first built it and i was really disappointed with the temps and it would get so hot that the PC would just shut down so i went for the biggest the case can handle a 280,Might fit a 360 but i didnt wanna push my luck and it not fit and have to return it

Get it to change my Kandalf! Great cable management. I've put the two intake fans in front to have best intake! Results in -10 degrees on CPU and -5 on GPU. I have s 2500K @4.5 Ghz with Zalman CNPS 10X Extreme and a 670 with Accellero Twin Turbo @ +85Mhz

Hehe this case is such a dilemma to work in... Rotate the drive cage with the drives facing the side panel so they get fresh air and you can route the cables behind the motherboard... Or rotate them towards the motherboard so your gpu/cpu gets fresh air but its harder to install new drives...

Yep you go right ahead. Tons of people are doing it and if you check all over youtube there are people showing other people how to do it. Theres no real way they can tell that you're doing this from an outside standpoint, and even with people admitting it openly on places like youtube and even giving tutorials for others to follow, there is no way they would do anything even with your ip address. Theres simply too many people doing it and no way to tell who they are.

This case DOES support push-pull in the top... The actual downside is that it only supports 2 fans under and 1 fan above instead of 2 fans under and 2 fans above.
