This is interesting. I'd like to see a followup vid on how you like it. I would imagine this takes some fine adjustments to the cable tension?
@TrippHPjunkie5 жыл бұрын
Its the same exact way you would adjust a normal tube as far as cable tension goes....thanks for the comment...🤜🤛

I installed the same throttle tube on my bike for an Lectron carb and is not working well, if I install the pulley part up to the friction pad (“cruise control”) the housing don’t close, if the pulley part start on the corner of the friction pad the slide of the carb don’t close… and if I put the friction pad out the throttle do close to 1/2 turn… so I made my own cable for the pulley part starts from the corner of the friction pad and now the slide do not open completely. 🫨🫨🫨

Hey Tripp, thanks for checking out the G2 Harley Quarter Turn. Glad you are enjoying it! I wanted to help out your subscribers and show them the difference between the G2 cam profile of the Harley Quarter Turn vs. the Stock throttle that comes on your bike. We've created a simulation here kzbin.info/www/bejne/jZ2VYp1pncqhbMU Thanks again and happy riding, G2 Ergonomics Team

Will this work for a flh 76 shovel with stock throttle ?
@TrippHPjunkie5 жыл бұрын
The tube I looked at on their website just now says 96 and newer bikes....not sure if you have stock style controls or not you may want to send them a email to check... thanks for the comment heres the link for their website www.g2ergo.com/product-category/harley-davidson/

Has anyone had the chance to compare this vs other aluminum options on the market, like the MoonsMC?

The biltwell aluminum tube I had was garbage wore out 3 times as fast as the plastic one and would stick at wot at times...

@@TrippHPjunkie not what I want to hear as I am about to go install mine that I got yesterday hahaha. I will keep my stock one handy just incase. I was hoping to get rid of the chicken wing on my never ending throttle but never thought about wheelies and clutch dumps.

Haha it might work for you I just personally struggled with the 1/4" turn luckily its not hard to change
