I did not have to have it retuned and still runs just as good as it did with the old ugly filter. My tuner said that high flow is pretty much high flow. That said that’s only what I was told.

Be nice to see dyno charts of before/after for air cleaner assemblies. I have a 124” and it’s running the same Screaming Eagle Heavy Breather I had on my 103. Be nice to know if it flows enough or if I’m leaving some power on the table.

So I got the KW Instigator cleaner on my 21 Electra glide. When cleaning the filter do I need to spray it with oil after cleaning or is it a dry type that you only clean?

I've had my Krome Werks stage I just like yours for quiet a while now but after 6 mo of it on, I've never had to take it off an clean or oil it. Do you use K&N llcleaner and spray oil on the filter or what and how do you clean yours?

I rinse it. From what I hear it doesn't need to be oil. That said I reached out but never heard back. Thanks for the reminder to follow up with them

I have a question for you, I have a M8 2017 and they run not as lean as a twin cam. There is about a 10% leeway on the M8. My question is if I put slip-ons with a high flow Air filter do I really need a tune? Remember I'm still using my M8 cover so the air flow would be a little less then say an full open Air filter. As I understand it any highflow air filter it will require you to have the bike tuned. When I added my full system and air cleaner it was tuned and make a huge difference in performance and sound. Tunes are not cheap but I feel it is worth the money.

You will have a little more leg room . I just got the khrome werks full exhaust. Got with them at a rally, they hooked it up. Got mine chrome, power vision flash with the sleeper arlen ness big breather. Thanks to the boys at khrome werks, love the new sound. Runs cooler and seems to start up easily.😮

It didn’t come with one and that’s a very good question! Seems I forgot to ask but that said I will and keep you updated.

It has a catch cup for the bolts.

Hey Bry, The air cleaner looks great. How far does it stick out? I currently have a stock ventilator air filter but looking to change when I do my stage II.

From the center on the filter back to the tank about 3 inches or so. What I like is that the front in flat so you can still get your knees to the tank.
