I love it when Dr. Quinzel shows up to give Harley guidance. I also love the interactions between King Shark and his brother, and how violent the fight between them was. Just goes to show that "nice" guys snap the loudest.

My favorite thing about HQ (and there is lots to love) is their plethora of jokes. They have SO MANY jokes that they can allow for a weird, obscure one from time to time. Did you get the joke when Batman was sitting in the Batcave with a guitar and a beanie on his head. He ask if the hat makes him a criminal and Nightwing says "you look like you're ready to steal some kisses" Ben Harper was a semi popular singer in the late 90's and his biggest song was "Steal My Kisses" If you look for images of him it easy to find in many wearing a beanie hat. Then the joke all comes together. I just love the writers for including a joke that left most people just thinking... What? Oh, and I loved it during the reaction when Aaron says, with a little surprise/ disbelief in his voice. "She's going to kidnap Bruce Wayne!" And Melanie simply says "Yup!" 😂😂

Did you get the one about Chapter 6 of Alice Through the Looking Glass? --- Spoiler Warning --- I only realized after checking my copy of the book, that he is referring to a scene where Alice just talks to Humpty Dumpty for a bit, and then leaves peacefully 😆

@@LadyDoomsinger I posted this awhile ago and have forgotten the episode a little. Is this the one where Wanda Sykes' character described the Justice League murdering all the fairytale characters? Is that what you mean? You'll have to refresh my memory. But your observation does strengthen my point. So many jokes that there is an inside joke for just about everyone. I've read and seen media adaptations of Lewis' Alice chronicles, but I'm no expert. Don't know why I caught the "steal some kisses" joke. In my trivia brain somewhere I just remembered that song ( I do have an mp3) and got the joke. The show's writers are amazing at how many not just jokes, but witty jokes they can fit in the show. A good joke is fun A good joke that requires wit is great! 😜

I don't know, he said he was just going to do the thing in Chapter 6 of Through the Looking Glass. --- Spoiler Warning --- Which is the chapter where Alice meets Humpty Dumpty, they talk about poetry and what words mean for a bit, and then Alice leaves and nothing violent or dangerous happens. 😆 Although, granted, the Mad Hatter does seem to like putting a deadly spin on his reenactments, even when they don't exist in the actual story - but still funny that the chapter he chose, if taken at his word, literally just means he's gonna talk with her for a bit and then let her go.

Next episode is the best of the 3rd season. Poor Bruce, all sad. “Guilt makes you look old.” Best line. Ocean Master has a cool, comic-book design I think.
