This will open up a captive portal on the PC, but not the andriod, havent tested on an apple device.

I have Marauder, but apparently, you need an SD card on the dev board in order to have the captive portal function in wifi-marauder working? Is this true or is the captive portal an add-on? I have an issue where running the captive portal function inside Marauder I get a "Could not find /ap.config.txt" - what is the deal here? Any help would be much appreciated. Would love to get this working.

So from my understanding you can only have one or the other on the Wi-Fi dev board at a time. There probably is a method to get both operating at the same time but that is beyond me and should prolly be taken up with the flipper zero discord for help?

@@kill-em-deadairgunner Same! It worked one time to load the evil portal html file.. .but now it's telling me there's no ap.config! Was there one before?? I got the "evil portal" working the one time through an AP generated on the flip but they took away all the google branding, this must be out of date video.

@@istrathdee it works using qflipper you have to move the ap.config file into SD/apps_data/evil_portal/ make sure the ap.config is in there not a big deal if it isn't either copy one transfer one over with the name you want for the AP or depending on firmware you can set it on the flipper before starting the portal. also you will not be using the default marauder app in the GPIO you need to open up the folder that say ESP then select the [ESP32] Evil Portal there it will have setting for setting the html file if you have more than one and allows you to set AP name

I’m sure it’s possible with modifications and adding an Ethernet port adapter to the FZ. I would imagine the connection being terribly slow however with the FZ acting as a Router if you will.

@@ModernBroadcast good luck with that. It is possible, but not remotely easy to implement in the already filled to the brim program memory the FZ has. If you want this, just get a USB microrouter and put OpenWRT on it.

i flashed this wifi devboard firmware for evil portal onto dev board , but then nothing for wi fi marauder would work, but after i reflashed marauder back to dev board marauder worked but evil portal says could not find /ap.config.txt , even after adding evil portal file with apps data into apps data folder?

i flashed the firmware in this video with the 4 bin files using the esp.huhn website ** but reflashed marauder and got the above error although everything else was working.? what am i missing?

@@nerdisyumyum you can only do one or the other. Out there somewhere there is probably a tutorial showing how to do both but at this time I am not aware of a way to allow both to work on the Wi-Fi Dev board.

It's too hard bro if your not mechanically inclined you need a saudering iron and a small extension antenna that can connect to the slots: example: top left corner of wifidev board GND TMS TDI TDO TCK RST 3V3

There are after market wifi boards that have built in antennas. I believe some (not all) users run into their own set of problems when it comes to compatibility with these wifi boards but if you have the technical know how the range is supposedly much better.

I personally use unleashed firmware. But following the steps in this video will replace the firmware on your wifi dev board.

Rogue master, unleashed and Xtreme all work great.. And this app works inside marauder so you need to have marauder flashed to the wifi board

You would have to do some HTML coding and save a html file. It’s against TOS to showcase exactly what you’re looking for but if you watch some HTML tutorials you can get the jist of it

You’ll need HTML knowledge and for the premade ones just replace the index.html with whatever you want and rename it to index. Example: Facebook.html - change name to - index.html

Huh that’s interesting. I would think there’s a few factors why this may happen. 1) did you mess with any of the settings? 2) it could just be the make and model of your phone (I had a Samsung in the past that would do this on hotel Wi-Fi’s)

@@the_shadow6973 Samsung has a safety feature built in that it won’t redirect right away. You’ll need to try to open a web page or click the sign in option from the phones notification hot bar.

I promise you it does work. If you do it right make sure your install is done properly as well. I was running into issues. Tested out at home before you go out into the field is all I can say. I never leave home without my trusty flipper I got it to work just fine on my last bus ride on Greyhound 😏 😉 Don't connect to public Wi-Fi people. It's not worth it

It shouldn't be corrupting your firmware. That sounds like another issue entirely. Have you since been able to get this to work?

@@ModernBroadcast No, my wifi devboard only says "could not find / apc.config.txt. Use stopscan" and then when I make an SSID, it says ap.config found, but then it says "could not find index.html. Use stopscan" Even though I gave the flipper an html file to use for the evil portal.
