Friends was actually good, it was really funny and the characters really interacted well together. You could tell that they were really friends. I picked it up and syndication probably during season 6 of the show's 10-year run. I tried to watch Seinfeld, and wasn't able to catch on. The First Seinfeld episode I watched I laughed hysterically, while the next three I didn't crack a smile at all and gave up. With Friends, I laugh all the time

I (a black woman) LOVE THAT SHOW…even bought the DVD’s back in the day so I can watch on duty days while in the military. SUCH A GREAT SHOW!!!! They missed out and don’t even know it…that’s sad lol 😂

Friends is funny. You have to watch it in sequence though. You'll miss half the jokes by not knowing the character development if you randomly watch an episode.

I watch until I got tired of no real representation. I felt like, when they finally brought in a black character, she (A. Tyler) was a token. It was good writing, and execution. We need another Living Single with multiple characters /threads, like in A Different World.

I think Jamele would have been great on Friends. She could have Moved in to Mr. Heckles’ apartment after he died and continued the harassment, but she’d just be all bitter and hateful toward white folks and accusing them of things they didn’t do and over eating. You know, basically what she does now but as a character on the show. Then she’d lead a defund the police campaign and their coffee shop would close down and the fountain where the opening credits would become a graffiti covered, trash-filled eyesore in the middle of gangland, you know like what has really happened. Then Jemele and her BLM buddies would kill all the characters and walk after a brief stint in be tank, where they saw the Seinfeld characters on their way to serving hard time.
