Has DANIEL EWING Underachieved At DUKE and as a Pro?

As professional athletes coming into any professional sports, you don't get to determine where you will play for the first years of your career. You don't get to pick your coach, teammates, GM or fans like you do in college. Sometimes it works out for you and sometimes it doesn't. Here's an athlete it didn't workout for as of now. Here's 3 reasons why I think their growth was abruptly stunted. Who knows, maybe they'll return to form. I sure hope so. Thank you for watching. he was on some absolutely LOADED duke teams yet they only won once in that span. talent up the wazoo for a decade at duke going back to when they were upset by rip hamilton and connecticut in 1999 in the NC. kids need to start thinking of this as a business, because it is a business. don't go to your favorite school, the school your family went to, or to the most prestigious school. you need to go to a school that's gonna allow people to truly see what you can do. seems a lot of stunted growth is kids going to big time programs and getting buried. everyone wants to be there and there are only so many spots and so many minutes to go around. your talent and skill is your business, manage and promote it wisely.

One thing I’ve noticed throughout my time watching basketball on the college/pro level; it seems like most guys who go to Duke, Kansas, and North Carolina hardly pan out in the league. There’s been a few to excel such as Grant Hill, Vince Carter, etc. but a vast majority of them end up being role players at best. Am I trippin’ or I’m onto something? 🤔

The problem is (Duke Fan) is they dont coach you for the pros...you the athlete have to hit it in the off season...work on your weakness and build on your strengths...in practice you show out to keep your spot...they forget its job interview for the league.
