My 2022 Ioniq 5 SE digital teal has held up well also. Only issue was the ICCU recall (took 2 days to replace) and the slight lower adjustment to level 2 charging (home charging 95% of time). I’m almost 70 years old and this is the best vehicle I’ve ever owned. Thanks for your videos and keeping our owner group informed! Looking forward to charging on the Tesla supercharger network ❤

Great info Corbin. Our 2022 Ultimate AWD Digital Grey is one of the best cars we've ever owned. We bought it as a dealer demo June 29 2023 and it had 9000km on the clock. As of today we are at 59,500km and no issues...knock on wood. No rattles, no battery problem...no service visits to fix anything. Hopefully this continues. We had concerns about the white interior but it is fine. Cheers Mike and Ally 🇨🇦

Nice to see the white interior holding up, it is my biggest worry on mine, especially the door pull area being all white. I had a bit of color transfer from jeans in the first month, but it cleaned off easily and hasn't come back.

Our Ioniq 5 SE AWD is the same age and everything has held up very well. It has been as durable as the Subarus and Toyotas we’ve owned. We did replace the OEM Michelin tires at 25,000 miles. That isn’t good but I hope the replacements do better. Otherwise the only issues have been a faulty USB PORT that was finally replaced under warranty and a mystery issue with the driver side window. In the past few months it will open on its own. Usually just once or twice but occasionally it keeps doing 8 to 12 times and even worse it won’t always close afterwards. Dealer thought they fixed but it is still happening occasionally. Overall we’re very happy with the Ioniq 5.

I have a 2023 IONIC 5 Limited with 44K miles. ISSUE WITH FRONT END/WHEEL VIBRATION: Periodically between 50 to 70 MPH. Front tires have 20K miles and were must rebalanced, after new rear tires purchased. Rear tires new and rebalanced too, after installed by another tire place. It does not happen every-time I drive over 50 mph. I once drove 35 miles on highway and on my return after 1 1/2 hrs parked, I got back on highway after 10 min back roads and once I reached 50 mph the front end and tires were shaking like my tires were out of balance. Once traffic allowed I got below 50 mph and after doing below 50 mph twice, then on the third time I got above 50 mph, the tire and front end vibration stopped. Just checking if anyone has experienced this issue on their IONIC 5 Limited. JOHN

I can imagine what you uttered when you made the dent with an adapter. Argh. It seems like micro chips on the front are inevitable; I had a clear bra installed to help thwart them at least a little bit. You've encouraged me to project that mine should hold up well over time.

Hey, since you have had your car for 2 1/2 years, I thought I asked you this question. Is there a way to unlock the doors or at least the driver door in the event that the car loses power in other words is there a mechanical way to get out of your car. Now I know how to get in, but how to get out if you’re stuck inside.

The doors are mechanical so there’s nothing electrically related that would lock you out except in the backseats if you have children locks activated

The biggest problem: car resale value 1/2 of buying price. How can that be with a low mileage 1 1/2 year old car in excellent condition? Mine is 1 1/2 years old. It’s in excellent condition with very low mileage . Really love car but long distant charging is a hassle. Many chargers out of order. Unfortunately this has caused me to consider a hybrid. When I started looking at hybrids I was getting trade in offers 1/2 the original value. Until Hyundai can charge at Tesla Superchargers I would not buy another one.

Apart from the damage caused by the 3m tape for the carbon fiber add on for the door, there is nothing here that I’d worry about, so this is encouraging to me. The only content he can get out of his current car is videos like this where he can talk about how well it is aging. The refresh is fairly substantial as it has lots of little things but also a larger battery so that means range test videos. Maybe even a whole video on the rear wiper. : ) It also has a new system for the infotainment, so there will be a lot new things to cover there as well.

The US Market value will shift soon, when more people realize how much better and cheaper EVs are to run. I think! I mean if a used 3 month old Ioniq 5 cost 25k$ now. I can't believe they would get sold in immidiatly. I would surely buy one in a heartbeat!
