HandjesBreda: Casual sex or the hookup culture is a fad. And like all fads, this too shall pass. Sex has been taboo for the greater part of human history. Most cultures/ religions have tried to regulate it, discourage it and some have tried to outright ban it with some narrow exceptions (as procreation is a necessity too). So it is but natural that when sexual freedom becomes a reality for vast majority of people, they go overboard in the other direction. It’s the repression of a millennia coming out and people don’t know how to cope with it in a reasonable way. Having said that, not everybody likes or wants to participate in the hookup culture. Many women and men are uncomfortable with physical promiscuity. Instead of forcing themselves to fit into the hookup culture, they can own/accept their own personalities and try to connect with like minded people. With the excesses and hedonism of the current generation on the path to imminent implosion, more people will be driven to seek more authentic and deeper relationships, romantic or otherwise. You can choose to move in that direction sooner /before it becomes trendy. :)

I’m by no means a Virgin and I’m tired of sex coming first and a deeper connection coming last (and often never even being given a chance to develop because the main focus is basically sex and how hot your selfies are).. my guy friend told me he doesn’t have a single friend of his, other than myself, that’s actually open to the idea of settling down and possibly marrying. whaaaaat??? angel hair is so good though!! it's like spaghetti, but way more delicate, the texture is more gentle. idk, it's soo good. and there's more spaces between the noodles to hold the sauce. angel hair is legit my favorite pasta. second favorite would be the little shells. i make them with a massive helping of pesto
