I was too young in 1993, but the 97 & 98 Bulls teams (& 98 Cubs with Sosa vs McGwire) were my first memories of sports fandom. I was 7 years old and I remember after dinner one Friday night the summer of 98 I was in bed with my parents watching TV and I asked my Dad if the Bulls would be able to win another one in 99. I'll never forget how the tears started streaming down my face after he explained that MJ was retiring, Scottie Pippen and Rodman were probably going to be traded and that meant Phil Jackson was also going to be leaving. I was heartbroken! Lol
