@@DailyDoseOfHasanAbifanchannel yeah, I've probably given myself brain damage watching all of the recent drama. Basically trisha had a breakdown on the frenemies show. She said the 'advice segment' was trash and started talking about personal financial agreements between her and Ethan, making the whole crew and set uncomfortable as hell mostly because one of the new hires, Sam - the girl Ian is dating, was the one who came up with the advice segment that Trisha was trashing on air. After Ethan tried making it better, Trisha blindly accused him of gaslighting, and stormed off the set saying she's done. She's made half a dozen videos about it since then that are quite plainly just sad, because she is unapologetic, and seems to gaslight throughout the videos.

Fuucckkkk. Imagine how she had this entire life built. Maybe she had plans for that weekend. Maybe going to dinner later that night. And in this room her life comes to an end because someone nabbed a coffee cup she used from the trash. At that point she just has to mentally realize her life is now over and just let it all out. But at the same time she realizes she has gotten away with this for 20 years. If she can just get through this... I'd have just shit all over the floor from adrenaline.

I think the comments were like that because he killed his pregnant wife and kids while she killed a "love rival", when the crime is that evil it has to be harder to act nice to the suspect.. Also the detectives and poligripher made a point to raise chris' self esteem and comfort him; the poligripher literally patted him on the back, and the detective told him that he's a truth teller and a good dad.

you are right, they couldn't use this as interrogation footage. It was accepted as "surveillance" footage in court, though. She became the number 1 suspect, they got some coffee cup (or a bottle) and something else with her DNA on it and it matched the DNA found where the body was bitten. They had those proofs and she was a coop so in a regular interrogation, she would have given them nothing and lawyered up instantly. I think that they were able to pass this as surveillance footage because of some loophole like " we went in as just a talk and well, she 'fessed up"; if she had confessed to a friend of hers and they were surveilling her without her knowledge, they could have used that footage. Therefore, they could use this one. Don't quote me, though! It's more what I believe and remember from videos I've watched than facts I have been researching for this comment or this use of footage in court!

She figured put pretty early on that she was being interrogated. I guess she figured that acknowledging that she was being interrogated would lock her into the interrogation which would mean she would have to answer more specifically. Therefore, the 'idks' were a way of keeping from admitting to anything concrete. It doesnt matter how flimsy her story is, if she says she cant recall or she doesnt know, that will cover for most discrepancies in her story.
